There's less RNG than you might expect 1. If you know the number in the frog totem, there's a specific animal code 2. The code to get into the animal room ("bolu") is pure RNG unfortunately, which is an annoying reset point 3. If you know any of the positions of the sliders, you know the positions of all of the sliders 4. Catherine's prison code seems to be fully RNG
this is insane. I might try going for the runs aswell. Did you notice, is there a pattern to the animal Moety code? Do we know how many patterns are there? I thing after some time we should be able to find out...

13:45 if you here quickly turn the handle at the center of the lake while the boiler room opens, you can skip the entire "Boiler Again" section in the future, I think? This should save you about 32 seconds.
I noticed you return from Jungle to Temple (at around 35:25) via the maglev. Given that Jungle is the last dome, is it possible/useful to reroute slightly, so that you go Survey -> Jungle -> Tay -> Jungle (again) -> Expanse -> Temple? That probably saves a little backtracking on Jungle, but it also loses time waiting for the room to rotate, so I'm guessing it's slower overall. NB: When routing the bad ending, this might make more sense, because then you can press the button once right before leaving Temple, then a second time upon returning through the dome, and then go straight to the Fissure, and I would guess that one room rotation is roughly even with backtracking through Jungle.
I think what you're suggestion was actually our initial route, called "Jungle 1 Tay". This route is called "Jungle 2 Tay". The original route ended up being slower because of all the loading that happens while traveling through the Expanse. Question - after you exited the Boiler Island dome after activating the fire marble, could you have stopped the dome again to save some time on the dome stopping animation later? Or would the dome have started again anyway by the time you needed to use it again?
Impressive, my run is 01 :13 :31 ☹ How did you know of the Bolu code for the secret passage, it changes regularly? I saw you checked the order for the Tree Frog symbol (without glasses), and then you did only 2 tries in the room, how did you find the order of the other symbols? I know the Warhk symbol is always in sixth position but the others change every time Thank you
Congrats on your run! I'm sure you'll get faster soon. 1. There are only a limited number of bolu codes, so if you try 419-532-684-715-964, it'll eventually work. I was lucky that it was the first bolu code. 2. The correct position of the Frog totem is always with the wood grain in the horizontal-ish direction. There's only one horizontal orientation that yields valid Moiety numbers. 3. There are only 2 possible combinations with Frog in the 4th position: Fish Moth Sunner Frog Beetle Wahrk, or Moth Fish Sunner Frog Beetle Wahrk. It's just the way the game is programmed.
