Maybe... Maybe we weren't meant to improve our graphics, our lighting, our models and textures. Perhaps, it was the stories we were meant to expand, the richness of the worlds we created. The characters, the art, the music, it was all magic in a bottle. Magic, I fear, we have lost. Maybe.
This one’s my favorite. I’ve been finding your covers to help me feel very peaceful during some hard times. They’re bringing tears to my eyes like when I first played these games in my youth. I appreciate your hard work ❤
normally I'm picky when it comes to what gets called 8-bit on here, since a lot of things slide closer to chiptune, etc, but the synths used here have so much sega genesis DNA that I'm enjoying the remix too much :p great work, especially on the super detailed pixel art
Hello, thanks for commenting :D. I explained this in a comment, and it may not seem like 8-bit, due to the effects that I usually add to the sounds. The truth is, I don't know if there is a rule that prevents the use of effects in 8-bit sounds, after all it is a remix. Both 8-bit and 16-bit sound different and use different sound waves, and here I respect the waves used, which are sine, square and triangular, with the exception of sawtooth waves that are usually used in 16-bit.
Oblivion is legendary, as is its music, which is why it never dies. There are those who say that it is better than Skyrim, in terms of certain aspects, which I do not agree with, since the fans have created a kind of rivalry, since both games are brothers from the same saga. Personally I like both equally.
There’s something about this that completely unsettles me, but in a good way as great art should. I guess it means it’s reaching somewhere deep inside I can’t explain, can’t even fathom. Great stuff, real art.
