My husband was a man like that I dealt with it for 13 14 years praise the Lord and God finally got a hold of them and really worked on him. He now is a completely different man than what he was. I thank God everyday for him.
I just came across your Channel and the title is what's the cost of knowing Christ the better question would be what's the cost of not knowing Christ😮😮😮 Maranatha even so come quickly Lord Jesus😊😊😊😊😊
Right @geraldharriss6277. The sermon is from Phil. 3:8 and 10. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
Hello Pastor , I would like to request if you have available copies of Four Spiritual Laws. Pastor Freddie R. Briones Bible Baptist Church Prov. Rd. Nalasin Sto. Domingo 2729 Ilocos Sur Philippines
I watched this earlier this morning but as I was reading Proverbs today I came across this footnote in my study bible. I figured I'd come back and share it. Proverbs 15:29 "No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. . . We have many organizers but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere." - Leonard Ravenhill
That’s really good. Found this today in my reading of a Samuel Chadwick book on prayer. Goes along with what your quote @rodney8075. “The world will never believe in a religion in which there is no supernatural power. A rationalized faith, a socialized church, and a moralized gospel may gain applause, but they awaken no conviction and win no converts.”
Thank you for speaking the truth in Love. It has been 3 years since you posted this sermon and it is a timeless message. Preaching the truth is a necessity.
Its sad when Churches cave to the pressure of culture and go against The Word of GOD. The bible is very clear, women should not teach, or have authority over men in the Church. Stick to the word of God. No women Pastors, no women Elders. Women can lead children and other women or be deacons, lead worship. If that is not what you like then you have a problem with the Word of God. This is the curse pronounced in Genesis 3:16
I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described. God ruled Israel through the Judges. A Judge was the most important spiritual leader of that time period according to scripture. When a Judge died the people went back to their sinful ways. To say a woman can be a Judge over Israel, but a woman can't be an elder in a small church, just doesn't make any sense scripturally.
@@user-iz8np3vv4i and that’s the problem with the church today. Twisting scripture to accommodate cultural influence instead of standing by a clear command for women not to teach or have authority over men. Honor Gods Word.
I could listen for hours honestly I believe pastors should preach the message that God gives them and if it's longer than the lesson they have planned then we are ment to hear it as God's people. I'm not saying anything against you I've hered so many people in different places complain about how long there pastor went on. I want to holler "You Needed To Listen! That May Have Been JUST For You From GOD!"
This is great. I was not expecting you to get Cindy on here to help us along the way with her knowledge. What a blessing. Another good idea that I thought about was doing two 3 day fasts. with 2 light meals in between. Based on what I've read I was going to eat 2 eggs and 1 sausage(w/ grease patted out with napkin) and then for lunch salmon and broccoli for my mid week meal.
This is great. Prayer and fasting dramatically changed my life this year. God moved mountains in my life and some of the verses I learned during it are my most powerful weapons.
It's interesting how biblical tithes are referenced as a financial principle when there's no such thing as a biblical, systematic tithe that was received from earned wages, New Testament or Old. And it's evident money was in ready use during those times and paid as wages (Haggai 1:6). Monetizing the tithe was man's idea after the bible was written and the ceremonial and civil ordinances that facilitated biblical, systematic tithing are now obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). The book of Malachi was limited towards the nation of Israel (Malachi 1:1) and the narrative was further narrowed towards the Levitical Priests (Malachi 1:6, 2:1). And again, the tithing indictments in Malachi 3 had nothing to do with money. Only consumables such as produce and livestock were accepted as systematic tithe deliverables. There is no biblical promise of a blessing for paying money to a religious institution, nor is there any biblical curse for not doing so. God isn't a mob boss or a slot machine. We are free to give, not bound to pay. Blessings in your giving.
@@BrianBranam I think it makes more sense to give as prompted rather than track any percentage of earned income. The percentage doesn't matter. Could be 80%, could be 2%. And how do you define an "offering to the Lord"? By what you put in a church collection plate?
Jeremiah 10:3-4 [3]For the customes of the people are vaine: for one cutteth a tree out of the forrest (the worke of the handes of the workeman) with the axe. [4]They decke it with siluer and with golde, they fasten it with nayles, and with hammers that it mooue not. You push the traditions of Sin and false gods down the minds of Gods children. and you will be held accountable. Repent now for Iehova Yeshua Hamashiach was born when the sheep were giving babes. This is not in the middle of winter where the lambs would die in hours from the cold this is the worship of the SUN god. not the SON of God. Turn from the traditions of your fathers and make yourselves presentable for the lord. For all wisdom stems from the fear of God. There is no wisdom in what you do. Only death.
