Set aside some money for car expenses. I have around $800. Ive had two flat tires in 8 months (I live in the mountains.. lots of gravel) Your car is everything.. take care of it!
Im in Bradenton and thinking about trying this out for extra cash on the side. Im not sure whats stopping me honestly. I was approved and ready to go and just havent hit the road
NEVER call a number they put in the notes: you just gave a stranger your personal address, full name, and whatever else they can pull about you from a background check website. Second, I had a customer message me asking if they could CashApp me $4 to buy them a bottled water. SAME SCAM! They now have your personal number and personal information. Don’t do it!
Guaranteed pay is a scam. Solo will claim you worked outside of metro boundary even if you only go to restaurants/stores within the zone designated by that particular gig. For example, on Spark, if I only go to Walmarts listed in what Spark designated as the Myrtle Beach zone, Solo will get around paying their guarantee by claiming "worked outside metro boundary", even though Solo won't show you what that boundary is. SCAM. People only make money from it by peddling it on other people.
I don’t knock or ring the bell either unless it tells me to in the app. I don’t want them to think I fishing for an additional tip. I got lucky in the platinum plan. I learned where to dash in my area that gives better tips in general.
Base pay should never be less than 2 gallons of gas at the most expensive gas station in your market but the way things are going soon it will be tips only
for the person that commented about their car is too old for Uber , you can steal do Uber Eats but you have to call support to get them to change it on your profile if the app doesn't let you do it yourself. But yeah you can't drive an old car for rides ... sorry I missed the live stream I was doing fairly good with my earnings today I did $110
That’s one that hurts your momentum. I had one like it that was at night and they had the door locked and you couldn’t get in. There was a black button to push but it was in shadow at night and I didn’t see it for a while. Customer would not respond to calls or text
You have to resend the insurance document on the same day! Like everyone was mentioning, they more strict because uber has to consider riders in the car
I think it’s mostly new drivers! Unfortunately there is no shortage of new drivers and most seem to be recent immigrants that don’t understand how it all works and they’ll just take whatever is thrown at them! 🤷🏻♂️ I have lots of screen shots with trash offers if you want to see them! I’m in northern Va
Doordash kick me out of the app for not updating my tax documents on time. So I only do UE but now I also download the Lyft app and set it to send me pick ups around the area that I normally like to do deliveries. If UE is slow I get some ride share to make up for the slow food delivery times. I don't make that much but I'm still averaging between 17 and 20 per hour. Only do it as an extra income. I can't imagine how frustrated it might be for those who still have the gig apps as their main income.
Hi, I love your channel. You’re my favorite, I took an add-on with McDonald’s the other day it said additional 2.5 miles for five dollars it turned out to be 32 miles. I completely freaked out. I didn’t know what to do. It was 16.1 miles then I had to drive all the way home which is like 33 miles, then I had to put gas in my tank because it was empty. What a loss that was I text the lady and I said are you really that far for me and she told me I had no idea you were that far from me or I wouldn’t have ordered it, it was a mistake on Uber eats part
Good info I just got started with Uber eats and those 2.oo and 3.oo order I don't take unless I'm just right their and it's a quick drop off if it's not 6 to 20 dollars I don't do tĥem
Tiers or not (pun intended), as someone still in cancer treatment, I have to cherry pick. I'm REALLY lucky that my area 'pinks-up' every few minutes, so I don't need 'Dash Now' or scheduling. UE is better in my area, and less troublesome with customers.
Each market is radically different, in my market doordash is useless. It's over saturated with drivers and not enough orders, so 90% of the time you can't Dash, whilst today I made $110 in 4 hours on UE, it was non stop orders and my market is small city $$$ at best market.
I delivered a $3 order last week 5 miles. I didn't have anything to do. When I delivered the order the gentleman gave me some cash I thanked him. When I got back to the car I counted it there was $15 cash. I was lucky.❤
In the Door dash app I can delivered four orders in a row and my acceptance rate stays the same but when I missed one delivery it goes down. Can anyone explain this too me? I been delivering for a few weeks ❤
As a person who dealt with major panic attacks I found out I was deficient in vitamin d and magnesium after taking both supplements steady my panic attacks are none existent hope this helps
There should be an alert that comes up on those no tip offers that has a memo that the person is going to give you a cash tip afterwards. There should be an option for the customer when place the order to let us know.
