One of these days the person who created this is gonna comment like "Yo, I was the dude/dudette who sort of made this thing and forgot about it , thanks for the 1.500.000 views and almost 1k subs for the person who uploaded it, you pieces of shit! Imagine the comments I would have had to read myself if I cared enough about making one of the best remixes of all time?"
Man, I blasted this a ton when I was a kid. I expected it to not be as good as I remembered, but it is in fact even better than I remembered. God it's so good, I really wish I knew who made it.
@@SPACYtunes Of course, happy to share! He's pretty small and obscure but he is one hell of a guitarist and an even better composer. www.youtube.com/@BLANKFIELD
@@SPACYtunes Of course! Glad to share something so awesome! Yeah he's pretty small and obscure, but he's one hell of a guitarist, an even better composer, and one of the chillest dudes of all time. On his youtube channel he also has a link to his website where you can download a lot of his songs for free in very high quality.
First time playing Silver, this mf wrecked me bad. Couldn't get past his Charizard, and I was highly underleveled...this was my comeback theme on SoulSilver and to this day it goes so gyatdamm hard
@@Not_interestEd- This was bugging me, so I did some digging. Some other comments have mentioned that it's originally by a Japanese musician that goes by warinside, or BLANKFIELD. Can confirm that going far enough through the past posts on the BLANKFIELD website (to a post from the 23rd of December, 2007!) will lead you to the original mp3. There's even a nice little text file that talks about the production process for the song, and warinside's thoughts on the Pokemon games. It looks to have been made for the second night of a doujin event called MNSS 2008... But what does MNSS stand for? After finding some other musicians that were part of the event, I found that the original url for the event website was taken by... a Clash of Clans guide? So I tried the Wayback Machine, which told me that the event ran yearly between 2006-2009 and was run by a person or group called White Night. Unfortunately, a lot of the site info and the track list for MNSS 2008 wasn't archived, but there are track lists for other years and warinside did a version of Bowser's Castle from Super Mario World for MNSS 2009 2nd. Almost all of the musicians just referred to the event as "MNSS" on their personal websites (and also on the archived event website), BUT luckily there was one with the whole acronym: Mad Night Speed Show. There's an article about the first night by KNGI Network that seems to match up nicely. Fun niche internet history. warinside still seems to be releasing music to this day as well! tl;dr original was indeed made in 2007 by Japanese musician, warinside/BLANKFIELD
God I remember being 11 and having the bomb that I just challenged Red. Then a year later realizing that I was Red two years earlier. God the first two gens were the best!
When I was a young lad, my next door neighbor and I, who is still one of my best friends to this day, both had Gold(he) and Silver(me). The only reason I ever got to play reb/blue/yellow was because he already had them and I would come over and we'd play Pokemon together. Imagine our surprise, seeing the character we played as in RBY. One of the best memories of my earlier childhood was seeing that team slowly come out and just further confirm what we were thinking. ❤️ Damn I miss them days
