Readers added context: The no textures wont add any fps (max like 4 because of wraps). Its only visual "Why?": Because the fps difference between decals on walls and no decals is so small that it shouldnt even be counted
@@heavilywounded good point but if someone shoots you your screens all red there are no icons so you dont know if youre fighting a mobile or pc player etc
@@heavilywounded dark textures are also holding you back lol, the pros using it are already good and they just use it because they look good, but if you wanna be the best you can just go normal settings with gray sky and some more fflags for fps. dark textures make the bullets like more visible so it makes a area around you gun you cant see when you are shooting and its almost up to the middle of the screen, also you think it makes the avatars more visible but no lmao it makes the shadows (not shadows but just the lighting i guess something like that) less brightened and you cant see them that well because their avatar also becomes a bit black and it starts blending in with the map
