Great tutorial man. I've stripped fairings off of a 2022, apparently I'm impatient and I beat the shit out of it. I decided to watch a tutorial for my next project lol.. this should help a lot.
Dude, I got quoted $4500 a year for a Ninja 400 and Im 24. If I signed up for CAA membership they said they can give me $3800 a year. Not to mention they removed the “cheaper insurance after 25 years old” rule on motorcycles recently.
I'm 23 with just a learners license and I pay about $1000 a year for a 2016 800cc Suzuki Boulevard C50 and I thought that was highway robbery (Full coverage). You guys in ON however on are something else.
I used an M14 washer instead. It has a similar size, 30mm OD and 15mm ID. BUT it would be better to have a custom cut washer made since the ID is quite big for the bolt anyway. Mounted mine but still with a little bit of wiggle, not totally solid fix as I had hoped but yeah the moving had reduced by half compared to without
How man? Do you pay less then 100 for a 2007 cbr 600 rr? RR means run away to insurance companies. How? I checked 8 companies.i live in WIndaor. I am in mid 40. Driving record is flawless. And I can't still get that rate. So I am thinking there has to be a catch. I can tell you right now it is not calling 100 times to 100 companies. There is something more.
@@mattrrcycle232 I bought mine for $1900 with 30k miles on it. I'm wondering how your friend got his for $1000. I can't find any 600cc bikes for $1000 anywhere. Your friend could've at least sold the stock exhaust. There worth a good penny. Just seems like such a waste. But hey! Who cares. You do u and I'll do me lol
Thnx for the vid. Your timing with the wheelies needs some improving. Keep the cluch in, give gas at one go and keep it at 7000rpm and release the clutch. Now you give 1,2,3 times gas, no high revs and try to pop it on a awkward timing.
That was way back , took a lot of getting over fear or looping but I got em nice and. High . But sold all my bikes I honestly forget I even have videos up lol
Just got my bike/M1. Nobody wants to insure, which is reasonable, without a M2 or safety test (which I plan to take). $5k/year, ($400) Southern Ontario. CBR500RA. Tempted to go this way since I don't have a vehicle anymore and need to get around. I can afford it, but the fact paying so much is scary.
OMG YOU FAILED AT MEASURING THE CHAIN SLACK LIKE LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE ON YT!!! ILL SAY IT AGAIN: You cant be measuring from the swingarm, you need the measure from the plastic swingarm slider, and not only that but from the part of the plastic slider that sticks down a lil bit more!!! look in your owners manual and look closely where they want you too measure and you will find that I am very much correct!
radfyran holy chill out I’ve never had any issues neither has anyone else lmaoooo no trailing or wear or anything drivability wise and I’ve checked the manuals before to see what slack is needed and I’ve always done it like this no issue if people wanna do what I do and many others do it this way like you said they will be fine why are you watching a video on how to work in a bike if your such a professional .
radfyran I don’t know what to tell you there’s information on chain slack online and in manual ? As long as slack is set and as I do in the video I insure the wheel is straight by measuring to common points there’s no issues , how I learned to do it and how tons of others do it I’ve never had an issue neither has anyone you don’t like it hey do it your way me and the others that do it this way never have any issues
radfyran ok I watched the video again and checked the manual online I did miss that I should have measured on the chain guard rubber and I went behind it so I lost like 0.15” of slack being that tiny bit tighter but that’s not catastrophic and you didn’t have to attack me I missed a tiny measuring point . My other points still valid for wheel cantering
@@mattrrcycle232 yes sure bruh, and as long as ur not measuring the actual preassure you put on the chain (supposed to put 15N on it a.k.a 1.5kg of weight) when taking the chain measurement I guess it can differ couple mm anyway
Jonathan Bradley yea forsure , they are all interchangeable on the Mazda’s even the old ones I’ve done it a few times all different years the b4000 I think is the one that it came with flares from factory
Hey Matt, Just subbed. Great discussion on the state of motorcycle insurance in Ontario. Rates have been going up for a while, and it can be frustrating, especially for new riders, with some companies refusing to insure riders with less than 6 years' experience. Location is also a big factor. Great tip about bundling. Some companies will give you up to 40% off your bike insurance if you bring your car over as well. Quick note about calling brokers vs. calling insurance companies directly. We're brokers, so take it for what it's worth. When you call an insurance company directly, you only get their rate. If you call a broker, they can give you quotes from multiple insurers, so if you want more than one quote, a broker can save you time. Thanks again!
Cool thanks I have a r3 myself and I have the blue and silver fairings and they suck so I’m trying to upgrade the bike before summertime so thank you very much
