Yeah using a basically cheat to locate them then say its too easy If you use xray ancient debris aint rare ether thats a bad argument Ppl maximise efficency for one goal, use basically a 3rd party/cheat software then wonder why its soo easy
Mace was a good weapon and way more fun for us to enjoy. But with the recent nerfs it really wanna make us feel like the mace is another trident weapon and an optional choice. But before it was like the new skillful best weapon and the old buffs were so fun to use I really don’t think nerfs are that necessary in Minecraft most important thing is creating a fun weapon
i think that bringing down the damage without smash hits was a good nerf so it's not just used instead of a sword and also the time one, but the other nerfs just make it a useless weapon

Damage cap? I would hate to not being able to kill the warden due to a damage cap lmao. Anyways it should have been the same attack damage and maybe make the speed the same as axe since we are used to it. I don’t think it was overpowered and it needs its old buffs since they were fun as heck.
I was thinking that its just useless now and MC should have never added it if the wanted to nerf it. But in the end when you said if you don't like an item you just don't use it,then i thought its just like that so its just an cool item to have.
@@niesn True, like if ya in a cave with a low ceiling or like somewhere with a ceiling like most structures, it ain't the best. Though, I suppose they don't want to make other weapons redundant. Also pretty bad against creepers.
As a player who plays minecraft old fashioned way I'd say getting mace is pretty end gamey I would probably get it way past elytra xD Elytra is something i really love to have It helps me a lot doing all other things But mace? Not very usefull I didn't really play any survival on 1.21 yet. But i think it would pretty much be like that I wouldnt wanna go there without shulker boxes and good armor
feels more like an overpowered midgame weapon than an actual endgame weapon tbh. you could do that *before* reaching the end and *before* even being full diamond, tbh
the best argument for why its too easy to get would come from comparing it to the previous best melee weapon, the netherite axe i am a freak of nature and speedrun getting endgame gear before i even have a decent house, i usually play with one other person, i task them with going for obsidian, sheep farm and wood, whilst i go out looking for villages to farm their beds but also make a start on a villager breeder within 30 minutes i will be in the nether spamming beds for netherite, the hardest part about netherite is getting to the correct y level without running into lava on your way down, after that, especially with the wood and wool farm done and the other person going for diamonds, we will have full netherite before the hour ends alone it would take me around an hour, with a duo, i know it will always be under 1 hour this was pre update. with the new update it is weirdly hard to get netherite, when the most notable upgrade is simply that it wont burn in lava. its basically diamond gear that you cant lose in lava. comparing that to the mace which you could very easily get within a 1 hour window if you use an online map to find the chambers like a sane human being and honestly, getting it within 1 hour is something i know i could guarantee, especially given that you dont really need to loot up beforehand
@@niesn its honestly very easy if you focus directly on it as your first objective, if i do it solo i will have netherrite before i have diamonds for the netherrite, since it tends to be easier but yeah this is far too big of a jump, from barely better to diamond to being able to one shot anything is absurd
I personally did like 60 hardcore runs during the snapshot to see how fast i could get the mace. my best current time was 22min but i had an entry time of 12 min with bad omen in a trial chamber. sadly i died of fall damage while entering the chamber but could have been a crazy short run.
For your average player, this is going to be an endgame weapon, you have to have decent gear and weapons plus tools and potions, you need to know how to trade with villagers and all that stuff.
You claim it's op because it can one-shot bosses, but you might be forgetting the amount of setup that takes and the fact that if you miss (pretty likely) you just hit the ground and die.
