Young women deserve to be respected, like anyone else, but that won't happen until they stop speaking with that snotty, ignorant sounding, vocal fry accent. Jimmy and Babs videos are still very good, though.
It's important to note on Sugar Cream Pie, that it originated as a staple dessert in Indiana because it could be made with ingredients that would keep for extended periods of time. Settlers moving west wouldn't have access to alot of 'fancier' materials. The cool thing about the Sugar Cream Pie is that in many ways, its still the same recipie that was used by western settlers to the region over 200 years ago!
The porchetta stand is "Roli Roti", they have several trucks around the bay that sells roasted chicken and potatoes mostly, but at the Ferry Plaza on Saturdays they make their porchetta. Try the chicken next time, it is great.
Got back from Ireland a month ago. we did the ice cream shop. They will give you lots of tastes and will do combo servings. Excellent highly recommend.
Totally agree with you on Saint Germain, Le Mariais is Ok, it’s too touristy, too many people. Montmartre is absolutely not the place for a first timer to Paris❌❌
Serious issue that you both don't name the dishes you're recommending? Are you sadists? Secret holders? Or simply not getting the idea behind informative video creation?? You both seem likable and reasonable people, but really!
Haha we’ve received the feedback and are working to improve (we promise we aren’t sadists and definitely not secret holders). Some places have seasonal menus so they change often (this was back in 2022).
I'm going to be spending about 7 hours in Galway city in a couple of weeks time. Will that be enough time to sample the city or is that more than enough?
As a Dub, I still don't get why the Leo Burdocks in Temple Bar - and any of the other Burdocks' they tried opening throughout the city in the past - have always been so much worse than the original near Christchurch.
Legends of Monstera! I was looking for Palm Springs videos for a future trip and was like waiiiiiittttt a minute when I heard that voice 😂 Looks like you still have the plants going, hope you’re doing well!
You’re missing out on a lifetime experience if you don’t visit Versailles in the summertime. I’ve visited in June and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Also, the fountains play music and it’s beautiful and the only crowded area is right outside the palace. The grounds are so large that you can honestly get lost in places where there’s no one. The palace also offers go carts that are rentable for several hours, depending on what you want for a reasonable price. You can also rent bikes, or you can do a guided tour of the gardens by horse. It was beautiful weather when I went it was 80°F I was in a summer dress and there’s so many shady areas that it was divine. Also I really recommend getting a two day Versailles passport. This allows you to visit not only the palace but also the queens hamlet & the trillions; you pretty much have full access to everything. You also get a show included, so I think it’s a great deal. Also, that way you can split up your days where one day you focus on the palace, and then the other day you focus on the gardens🫶🏻
So exciting! Purchased the black LV tote in the Kyoto LV store. Kyoto has some great resale shops as well. The white neverfull was purchased in Osaka along with the Hermes scarves. Orange Boutique-Houbidou 3rd store is great for Hermes items and we purchased scarves there. Otherwise all the resale shops will have a variety so we went into ever store we saw then went back if we found something we loved.
Indianapolis is a great city for dining. Generally places are easy to drive to, and park near, and reliably good. There are many, many places that are excellent.
We live in Pebble Beach and this restaurant has always been a favorite. The oysters, the pernod mushrooms, the flatbreads and the seasonal dishes never disappoint.
Thanks for the video but it would be helpful if you could point out the number of arrondissements you are referencing. Some of us going for the first time have no idea where any of these areas are so if you can use a number, that would point out the general area of Paris you are referencing
