I was there mid July 2016 and missed that beautiful snow cover by about a week or two. The mountains were covered in patches snow at the time and we still took some nice pics. This is the best video of Afriski area I have ever seen, well done guys.

Awesome video....one of the best videos that I have come across.....it ticks all the boxes however, with the exception of one...... there is no indication/captions of specific places/areas where the various scenes were filmed, so anyone planning and looking forward to experiencing the Drakensberg Experience as highlighted in the video, would not know where the scenes were shot (Northern, Central or Southern Drakensberg). Captions would be a great help in this regard.
This is a great video that would be wonderful to use when promoting South Africa through my tour operator company - I just wish you could redo it without the cheetah part as this is not good for my clients. Let me know if interested
Wir hatten das Glück 1998 bei Fam.Kux als Gast zu sein.Wir wohnten damals in den Bungalows auf der anderen Strassenseite.Frau Kux warcso nett und hat mir immer einen ihrer Boxer als Begleitung abens mit geschickt bis zu unserem Bungalow,da mein Mann u. sein Freund , bei ihr im Haupthaus Fussball geschaut haben. A school that produced some incredible sportsmen. I matriculated in 1986 but remember watching Joel Stransky and Jonty Rhodes in action as a schoolboy and later saw the emergence of Kevin Pieterson and Butch James as an adult. All ended up stamping their mark on sporting history in addition to Keith Oxlee, Craig Jamieson and many others. The two Rugby World Cups the Boks won both had College Boys at 10. A school us all KZN folks always respected.
