Why would i use a gopro on a dji avata 2 ? Dji avata 2 has the same sensor than action 4 and gopro. If you ever see someone adding a gopro on top of the avata 2 send them the link of this video and a good master class book about how light work in photography. Most or 98% dont understand " light, lut, grading, camera and more... I don't do anything on my drone i dont have a ND filter , a gopro or any other camera, but i have book about photography , light, setting, and more.... The only drone i wish i had would be a drone like the DJI inspire with full dynamic range, but again it's nothing to do with the camera it's with understanding photography . 😉. You could give me the worst camera and would still look as good . The most important is understanding photography. Never ever add a gopro on top of the avata 2.
Always chuckle at these videos when the first rule of thumb with drone piloting is to make sure you always have eyes on the drone.....something tells me the pilot had no idea (other than their screen) WTH they were at over 1km away.
Don't tell anyone i have a secret 🤫 . I made a run the day before and on the second day i adjusted my position. Rule of flight is always line of sight 😉. Check all my video i never lose sight of the drone . I always plan my flight and make test run to make sure i have full connection and best line possible.
Not much really always pretty much the same. A lut and some minor saturation curve tool. I am a 2d digital compositor so i usually dont change much but i make the image pop a little more . It's always the basic photographic composition that is really important. We are photograph from the sky 😉
@@patrickfields1640 only setting if camera angle will determine the speed when you have a RC controller. Motion controller you limited to i think 60 km
Looks incredible. Thank you for sharing. I also just ordered an AVATA 2 fly more combo - you can buy them refurbished now for much cheaper. Looking at your speed it seems like you are flying in CE mode. Hitting 27m/s shouldnt be an issue if you do the FCC hack in your goggles and start in the following order: Goggles, Controller, Drone. You may even hit 31m/s if you cut the prop guards (this has downsides though), which have the attenas and other integrated into them - be aware of that if you consider this mod!
Thanks a lots. Refurbished great idea. Changing my camera angle will gain speed too. I think to gain speed will buy a pre build 7 inch like geprc or iflight so i get more top speed and stable flight in the wind an they do flip better since they dont have the guard, but that said the avata 2 is solid drone with fantastic camera . I just have a need for speed . FPV 2 will be fantastic with all the belt and whistle of the avata 2. top speed 140km will be a blast 💥
Mini 2 was my first drone and now i have the avata 2 and 4 other fpv drone and i am loving it . If you love making cinematic video this is the drone . Check all video you will see what you can do 🔥

Get the Avata 2 you can still rip check and do super cinematic video. Check some of my video you can for sure rip. I have few other drone now for different style of flying, but overall Avata 2 is my favourite, because it make my life easier for travelling and a drone i trust above the water with RTH !
@@MoonRabbitFPV Your one of those that will get there because you just fly the rest will come in time 😉. Until flight are not super smooth and in control no point of thinking about all the lut, grade etc... it will come in time
I love both check my water video all done with the motion controller all depend on what i films. My friend is older and only use motion controller and the video are amazing 🔥
@@YTFPV cool! I am also „older“ and I like my vids, done with the motion, pretty much :) But I’ll also try the remote controller! When it comes to mobility it beats the motion, also speed is not limited in manual mode I think

@user-ny8qv9uu7x the most i did was almost 4km but on perfect day never posted wasnt super nice video😂. 2.5 km is pretty standard , but again some spot connection is not the best many reason . You always need a great line of sight. This week i have a new video coming but you will see my position not the best was hard to get 1km all vary. Also dont ever go 3.5 km in windy day . Batterie and wind not the best 😀. If you have a friend waiting or a big field with a way to land sure be my guess test it to is max distance, but if you can't find the drone its a expensive test 😂
Thanks you it's in Quebec near Mont-St-Anne, but there no access by foot unless you ask one of the farmer 🧑🌾. The local seem to think it's a source of clean water, but nobody really known about it
I started with the dji avata 1 and flew motion controller at first. I definitely recommend to start with the avata 2. Fly motion controller if you have zero experience get use to the speed and overall feel. No shame on the motion controller. When your ready with full manual you will known. Do some simulation first and try high in the sky and just keep practicing 😉. Step by step.
I have the avata 2 as my first FPV drone and yes, i can confirm, the motion controller is absolutely amazing for beginners like me. I feel like I’m not sure of buying the remote controller bc my shots are mostly cinematic, smooth and slowly, i can to this with the motion controller easy.
Thanks a lot i always use the build in camera and this was at beginning of summer so wasn't super conformable with full acro so i have a mix. Motion controller and acro 😉. I spend lots hours since than acro😀
