Good video. Conservation mangement, and all other enviromental protection works, are all like this: Everyone contributes a little is always better than one person contributes all.
Aloha! ...Abundance, Beauty, + Clarity flow from this conversation. Thank you!. Beautiful to witness this; I am a Regenerative Farming Community Designer, and certified Permaculture Designer since 2001. We moved to Scotland recently, from Maui, Hawaii, after 15 years of year-round learning, teaching and growing, including designing our 258-acre Regenerative Farming Community Design for 4 years on Maui, in Hawaii. I am happy to connect and see the transformation in Scotland from degenerative, conventional, unhealthy choices; including funding poisonous, extractive, wasteful, suicidal-so-called farming, to regenerative design which alleviates all the harms and tragic consequences of the above, as well as building resilient community through every person claiming their gifts as a steward in some manner, such as caring for animals, mob grazing/intensive grazing, growing a food forest, agroforestry, building soil, co-creating inputs of compost tea, raising beneficial insects, holding a farmers' market, or having a wee shop, distributing farm and animal farming products from animals and poultry birds being pasture-fed grass, not grains, and treated with utmost respect, living their best lives, and evolving rich, nutrient-rich soil biology, enhancing human gut health, stable, upilfted moods and energy for all this beautiful transoformation to who we are; we are Nature. I am so happy to be here, to be home. Healing my ancestral homelands. In Love, as Nature, for Beauty, Claire
The earth's crust in ratio to the size of the earth is equivalent to the skin of a soap bubble and we will all go pop due to the greed of the privileged few people who are making life difficult for us all and destroying the earth in the process of getting rich and reducing the population and quality of life for us all.
The only hope, actually. Where is health in farming methods that are in conflict with the beneficial relationships inherent in Nature? I enjoyed this video! So helpful as a new Scottish resident, from California, and Maui, Hawaii.
At least it's comforting to know that horseshit isn't in danger from climate change. They are lovely wee bats but never mind, we know it's all part of the game. Schwabb, Soros, Gore, Clinton, Blair, Gates, Trudeau, aye, lovely wee bats aw the same, ya numpty.
annabel goldie, lover of a sheep species.......... hater of unborn babes, yes, babes as yet unborn are to be treated to some yummy depleted uranium. disgusting example of womanhood
Doesn't Annabel Goldy want to eat a couple of uranium missils? After the use of these weapons local population of Yugoslavia and Iraq had 6 times more oncology cases, pregnancy losses, birth of ill children. More than that. American military men who worked with these missils got many cases of oncology, couldn't become fathers or got sick children. They lost all the courts to the American government. Such justice of the USA system.
This issue needs to be viewed in a wider context. If people didn't have to spend so much of their income on accommodation, they could afford to pay farmers properly for healthy and sustainable food. Reformed taxation (including land-value) could favour small producers and also reduce the cost of housing.
really enjoyed this and fully support the major thrust that we desperately need mandatory biodiversity/nature targets. This is surely described at the most basic level as the area of land which is now converted from provisioning/extraction to nature restoration. The parallel measure is surely the area of land where provisioning/extractive practice is converted to regenerative/circular processes. If we cannot measure and track these two basics, we will find it hard to make any progress, and attempts to solve the 'how its done' issues will never have broad enough mandate, and will remain in their niche silos.
A good place to start is with a Fairphone - fully repairable, ethically sourced and fairly manufactured mobile. I got one a few months ago and hope to keep it for at least ten years...or more!
Brilliant video! If any MSPs are watching please consider championing some of our rarest bumblebees - the iconic Great Yellow bumblebee and the beautiful Moss carder bee need your help.
This knob came into my modern studies class and just barged about how much money he has and how much words he can type per minute and proceed to to be an ignorant child for the whole hour
it has to be uk wide legalization, doesn't it. I dont think Scotland has the powers to do so as of yet. So once again your wasting resources in achieving little. but must crank up the fear of leaving the EU. middle class virtue signalers at there best.
Here in North America, home of the progenitor Fraxinus species, we are witnessing it's extinction event since glutinous Emerald Ash borers kill off all young trees before reaching seeding age. Our City of Chicago easily protected over 96,000 with treatment!
