Welcome! You may have seen this channel before as Popular Crime (and some of the old uploads are still noted as Popular Crime). We are now Culture Rewind and are more of a boots on the ground channel. Join me on my adventures as I visit significant locations that have impacted our culture. I visit sites of mysterious events/deaths, dark histories and infamous true crime cases. I also find filming locations from your favorite movies and tv shows, and all the quirky places I can find in between. 🎬 📼🔍 🛸👽🔪
Erik and Courtney were asked to leave Kristen’s funeral by Kristen’s family. That was when Erik wouldn’t leave her body alone. He was supposedly throwing himself on her casket.
Great video.... It kinda looks like Eric may have hot shotted her, but he wasn't the one who done it to Kurt. We will just have to wait for Dylan to come out with a statement about him helping murder Kurt. It looks like you had a good trip, and it's a plus to have an extra day in Seattle to make this video to share with us. Thank you
I love the fact that they kept the house in almost original condition. I hate it when you go to a historical property that's been updated with all modern furnishings. I sure wish kurt and tracy stayed together. I think she was really good for him.
Well, it's impossible that Eric delivered the goods to Kristen and right after when Paul went to check she was already sleeping. The timing is somehow not right.
I wonder if Kurt would have lived there once the divorce went through. He gave Charles Peterson a new telephone number when he saw him so I'm curious for what home it was for.
There is an odd video interview of Hole where Courtney says to Eric something about his dead girlfriend. She seems to intimidate or threaten him. He immediately shuts up and its awkward af.
Kristen was trying to get away from the satanic practices that was going on behind the scenes because it made her uncomfortable and she also knew too much about Kurt's death sonshe became a liability and had to be silenced. She became another sacrifice for Courtney.
@12:25 I remember hearing a story somewhere that Eric showed up to Kristen's funeral uninvited. In fact, I believe that her family didn't want any of the members from Hole there. Eric and Courtney show up anyway, and he's beside himself crying and being hysterical, and he throws himself on top of her coffin and begins sobbing🤷♂️Maybe I'm wrong but that's what remember reading . So I believe that's what she was referring to. Very interesting hearing more background about Kristen's life! I didn't know she had a background women's rights. That was right up Kurt's alley! They must have been such good friends 😍
Maybe that is it! I can totally see that, now that you mention it...great info, thank you! Yeah, I think Kurt and Kristen really connected in an organic, authentic way.
@@Culture_Rewind did you read the book her mother wrote Unfinished Rhapsody? Is that where you were able to find so much interesting detail on her life? I've been wanting to read that for so long. I actually have it saved in my cart on Amazon, I'm waiting for the next deal days they're doing starting the 8th lol
I haven't, but it is on my list! 📚 I went through old blog posts and articles to find information about her. Maybe when I read the book, I'll do another video.
I remember hearing that too. I don't remember where, but it was some channel that covered her. Maybe it was the Mindshock channel where I heard it. I don't know.
Do you think that was a show they put up in order to make Eric not look guilty? Yeah, Courtney lies all the time. She did say she had to go to the apartment to get Eric off of Kristen's body. We don't know if Paul is telling the truth either.
Well holy crap I never knew he had a place just off Lake City there. I always kinda wondered why he chose that gun shop nearby so guess that explains that. I had a paper route in that neighborhood back in the day and the paper did a story on possible devil worshipers in the area and interviewed my family about it which made the cover for the April 5, 1989 edition oddly enough. Great stuff! 👍
Thank you! I know, the Stan Baker location does make more sense now. There was a lot of devil worshipping stories back then...that's crazy they interviewed your family!
New evidences 2024. There were 8 people hanging out at his Seattle home the day / night of his death. Two of'em confessed of murdering Kurt, either accidentally intentionally.
i was wondering that same thing.. is there video evidence of ernie saying the date ? he was dead on or before the 5th so that makes lindas tavern sighting impossible also the catus bar sighting as well
I like Kurt okay, but Layne is the one I’m more interested in just based off their music. Seeing any Mad Season related locations would be very cool too. I like the way you do these videos, keep up the great work.
I think his relationship with Demri was toxic and tumultuous. Each were young, in their late teens and during their 20's. If he felt sadden of her death, it's probably his lingering feelings of the past. But he's been addict even before AIC came to be. Heroin was the death of him.
