I’ve had this shit happen to me, a cop pulled me over in the middle of what is essentially a 4 lane byway, and gave me a ton of sass for pulling over where it was safe and couple hundred meters ahead, I was definitely speeding, but I always always told to pull over where it’s safe, this is an absolute power move, they want you to obviously pull over where it’s safe for them, unless they are mad at you when they approach you, then it’s pull over immediately, and they tell you you’re supposed to pull over off to the side of the road where it’s safe, there’s just no winning sometimes with these kinds of guys

The ship docked here in Honolulu in June 2024. It is sailing to Japan next leaving Honolulu June 10. The trip is expected to take 24 days. If you have a chance to see it in person do so. It is just magnificant. The brass parts gleam in the sun. The wooden deck is clean and looks new. The masts tower above you into the sky. The mahogany sructures on the deck are glossy dark red varnish. Everything is in top shape. The figurehead is the man Cuauhtemoc of golden color with a green cape. The crew looks impeccable in their whit😢e uniforms and are very friendly. At 72 I just wanted to become a stow away and sail off with the truly Magnificent ship. And as I walked away I passed by our old four masted tall ship, The Falls of Clyde. and wept. She has been docked here for years and is being slowly dismantled, limb by limb. She once could have been brought back to her old glory, and there were some failed attempts to do so. She could have once been renewed perhaps to live again as a training vessel for young sailors just as the shi Cuauhtemoc. But no more.
