I miss the older hotels that were taken down, but I really miss this one. I wish they'd done a restoration instead of a complete destruction. Now it's just a strip of overpriced hotels that have none of the charm of the older strip hotels.
We're angry because It's replacement, Echelon Place, Went bankrupt and is sitting there collecting dust. This whole demolition, along with the New Frontier, was a total waste and now the entire north end of the Strip is dying because of "Progress and Economy"
I don't know why people complain to much 'bout building destructions. It has history and many other things, but it is about progress and economy.They wouldn't do it if wasn't worthwhile. We need to make progress even in construction,or we would be living in Medieval era. Instead, people should complain about forests, nature, oceans destruction, animal extinction, that is irreversible. Anyway, I wanna see something like that someday.
