Huge error here in communication bud. You say to tighten the strap until all bleeding has stopped, then turn the windlass rod and secure it. I followed the instructions on my buddy, it took 6 times of positioning the strap and cinching down on it until it was positioned suitably to stop the bleeding - then I tightened the windlass. He asked me to "STOP", he told me "it doesn't need to go any tighter, you've stopped the bleeding", I should have believed him, but I continued anyway. I'll never forget the screams! The windlass bar never did reach a stop, rather it would spring back, I used a cheater bar. The EMT said he looked like he probably survived the blood loss, but died from pain, not from shock.

very helpful information... use herbal formulations like Belgiri Powder and Bandhanghan Vati by Planet Ayurveda which is very effective in Crohn's disease.
Above it. Either several inches above the wound or “high n tight.” This leaves enough room for possibly a 2nd tourniquet if the situation demands. Do not put a tourniquet on a joint: elbow or knee
I had my unsedated colonoscopy today. I was surprised how easy it went. Just some cramping and pressure in the corners. It's not like you feel the scope in your body. you just feel some pressure points and that's it. Really fascinating. I really think more people would do it unsedated if they just tried it once.
This is a joke. Most residents who have to be moved this way are way over 200 lbs., and they dont help at all. A 126lb. Cna has to do this. No way does this work without hurting the cna. Especially if the resident is going on a sit to stand with a battery operated lift.
0192309129392130129301293019301930912903102930 Greetings. Life is created by God. There's also a son that he beared into the world named Jesus. Jesus forgave us of all wrongs. Inhale oxygen.
Yes I just got out of the e.r they used this on me the nurse actually gave it to me when I left. They amount of pressure they put on me when tightening this down was more than uncomfortable it was an incredible amount of pain they cranked that rod down tight a.f about 3 twists i think.
Do it with two fingers and make sure you are not realasing any pressure while packing, in simple words just keep it tight and fitted inside and let it losen or u lose it
This is such a money making scam. 25 years ago in Melbourne, Australia, they were using ultrasound for fixing kidney stones. Every year they spout this crap, about how advanced they are and how brilliant it all is; yet they are still treading water, so to speak, the same as they were back in 1960. What a crock of shit modern 'medicine' is?!
