some descriptive fact of interest like the plank socket location and etc., tell your photographer to get tripod or a monopod and soften the music . gave up at 4:49
So cool how the camera frame rate makes it look like the props are barely turning. The noise must be horrendous when those things are going full throttle. Although they'll never be as loud as a B-52. It'll shake your insides when those roll by you on the ramp.
Dad was combat camera with the B29s of the Twentieth Air Force, am pretty sure there's a black and white snapshot of Fifi's nose art in the stack of pictures my sister currently has, along with the nose art of a lot of other B29's, shots of the island, and some aerial shots of Japan. I have his scrapbook of his time in combat camera before he left the states. The only story I remember, and I post it every time there is something about B29's with a comment section, is about one of the crew rituals. Apparently the facilities is not much more than a can. The flight routine that the crewman that used it first had to empty and clean it on return. Unless someone had the trots, it would normally be quite a few hours before someone gave it. At that point the pilots had to crank the elevator trim to adjust for the whole crew rushing to the tail at the same time.
This is a huge deal for sure. I'm surprised though that air taxis aren't already a thing in big cities. Nonetheless, this looks so promising. I will be flying this in flight sim for sure.
Thanks for commenting. It felt like I was there filming when the wright brothers first flight with this Volocopter. Share my channel on social media if you could
I love the looks of the classic warbirds. I got into flying the rc P-47 razorback and F-16 thunderbird. Nice job and best of luck Jewels! Aviation is a great hobby and possibly career!
For me too it is the best fighter plane of the Second World War. Even my dad was lucky enough to fly the f 4u Corsair during the war, he is the best, without taking anything away from the p51 mustang and other planes. ciaooo
Thanks for showing us! I’m looking into Garmin Pilot, Avare, FltPlan, WingX, and of course Foreflight and trying to decide which to choose for IFR training!*
I purchased a Stratus ESG and am very disappointed in this system. It uses a stratus ADS-B IN RX which is locked out for all EFPs except foreflight. It is not a ADS-B IN unless you use that EFP. I am having the ADS-B RX removed from my plane as I still have to use an external ADS-B IN RX, no way to display weather or traffic without paying $200/yr for a foreflight subscription. Stay away from this transponder unless you don't want any options for a EFP. Good luck with your upgrade, hope this helps.
Well, it seems pretty clear that Piper is jumping on the 'Daher TBM' bandwagon with a cheaper, lesser quality and MUCH slower knockoff with less payload and range than the TBM 930. If you're going to try to copy your competition, you should at least make an effort to bring something improved to the table instead of 'inferior but at a cheaper price'. Comparing an M600 to a TBM 930 is like comparing a Chevrolet Spark to a Porsche 911. Yes, they both do the same thing but in a VERY different way and yes, you get what you pay for, as with most things in life.
Interesting comment. Differences are that much? You analogy will send you to my other RU-vid channel USClassicMuscleCars - need subscribers and views - thanks
Nice videos...but the roaring engine noise at the beginning is really annoying and is a big turn off. You might want to rethink your opening sounds track.
Appreciate the comment. when I edit sound it is on my headphones - so the level is estimated. Is it the same occurrence on my other channel USClassicMuscleCars
