Welcome to the "Cup of Joe" Show. This channel is a place for me to share what's going on in my life and some of my interests, opinions, and thoughts on life.
I've had my same pair for maybe 5 or 6 years and the leather is finally starting to come unglued from the sole. Apparently they don't honor the warranty if the sandals have ever touched water...
Great video, incredibly helpful! Saved my like 8 year old UPS, didn't want to have to throw it away if I could avoid it! Glad with your instructions it was an easy swap.
It would have been better if you would have shown how to do the job instead of just flapping your lips. No real information on what needs to be done. Thanks for the waste of time.
Thanks for your video. I just changed out a pair of fog lamps in under an hour and I am old. I knew what i was up against before I started thanks to your instructions. I used a 10mm racheting wrench. Thanks 👍.
I wonder if the front panel indicator that says "REPLACE" might be a sign that you should replace the battery. Hmmmm...🤔🤦🏻♂🙄 🤣 And P2 is a Phillips #2 size. Sheesh, it's so basic dude.
Your recipe is too chunky-style for my tastes, but you did some good stuff. Adding Habenero Pepper (I haven't done that in ages, but maybe should :D), roasting your own peppers... but whole cumin seed... while I really like that you toasted them yourself, I wonder what you get from adding them whole instead of ground? The idea of using chorizo is interesting too. Your chili is more like a chili stew imo.
The short ratchet is known as a 1/4” drive ratchet (and suitable socket ) Be sure to use the metal Rod and adjusting knob to set the correct beam height Put your truck about 6 feet from your garage door , turn fog light on and adjust the new one to match the other . When replacing both because the lens fell out , replace the non working one , adjust to the working one , then replace and adjust the other to match the first one .
I would suggest all look really close at how the unit is to be attached. The plastic goes on top and then utilize the screws. Time was about 5 minutes once I pulled my head out and looked at the other side.
Thanks for the tip on a short ratchet and short 10 mm socket, my truck is a 2000’ Silverado 2500 4x4 and hopefully the extra clearance will help on my install!
Joe it's a whole lot easier if you drive up on ramps. I did mine it took 10 minutes each. Also the adjustment for the are ridiculous. If you don't loosen the 2 screws on the bracket they won't move. Did you adjust yours?
Yeah ramps would have been great. I didn’t have any and I was too lazy to go and borrow my dad’s. LOL. I didn’t do any adjustments. Just mounted them as they came.
I appreciate this. I have the same unit (over a decade old now) powering my PC and wrongly thought the sudden shutdowns were a PC driver issue, but no, it was the UPS battery. Time to change it. Nice to find a video on changing it out.
@@JosephChavez I actually was directed to it by today's PCLM stream where they used it as an example if how to skin a pepper. I know it wasn't a watery meat soup like the other guy's, but it looked legit delicious. If it is the lt is the last one, you went out on top. Best wishes to you going forward and I hope to see you on next Saturday's stream.
Too bad rainbows aren’t made in the USA anymore, a majority of them are made in China. So that would mean Quality Control has done down considerably considering rainbow can’t examine every single pair while also keeping up with their paltry 10% manufacturing in the USA.
Great video, thanks. One question. With the UPS upright as shown, the battery is upright with the terminals at the top of the battery. I run my identical UPS flat, meaning the battery terminals would be on the battery side. Does that make any difference? Are those batteries designed to be laid on their side? I know I would not like to lay my car battery on its side.
It’s been a while since I had this UPS. I will say that the batteries are fully sealed and shouldn’t leak. I agree they should be standing up but I don’t remember if that UPS made you lie them on their sides or not.
I think your stretching out process is what's causing the thread damage. The leather stretches but the threads don't. If you got them in the right size they might last longer, but if that's how you like them maybe look for a model that doesn't have threads on the strap itself.
The batteries weren't that hard to replace but I wouldn't buy this model again. I have long replaced this with a Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCDT that has hot-swappable batteries. That OMNI model, technically, wasn't designed to change out the batteries.
got a replacement battery and what do you know the new replacement battery died after one day I was socked no voltage and nothing, talked to the supplier and after a time agreed to give me a second one and this time it worked, the moral of the story be aware of the person selling you a battery it may not charge.
Yup. I long ago upgraded that UPS to a Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCDT and those batteries are still running strong. I haven't had to replace them yet but at least I know this UPS is designed to have user-replaceable batteries.
Thanks for the video! Was trying to figure out how to remove the battery to do a reset on my UPS per Tripp Lite support instructions and this helped immensely!
You saved me a hell of a lot of grief by teling us what tool to use. It was still very difficult for me to maneuver to be able to lossen the screws, but it would've been far more difficult without your advice. Thanks!!
Probably the glue wears off or gets weak with the heat. I don’t recall of my originals did that but the new ones I put in on this video are still working after all this time.
@@JosephChavez yeah I don’t even know when mine came off lol I just noticed one day that one was gone, then I looked at the other one and it was missing too! Lol
Thank you. I ended up ordering the same lights you got from Amazon $33 before tax. I have a 2002 Tahoe and the fog lights came from the previous owner without the clear plastic, I thought that was by design just to find out they they're broken after one new bulb went out in about a month.
Nice review of these rainbows flip flops. I've been wearing reefs flip flops for a long time now and I just bought me a pair of rainbows. Question? They are the right size but they are very very tight on my foot.I have very very wide feet 6 EEEEEE with very fat wide toe . Flip flops are tight on my foot because of my foot being very very wide but are they supposed to be that tight. Did you have the same problem when you bought your flip flops. Wondering do you have wide feet and I need to buy a pair for wide feet or what. Thank you for sharing your video it was very good information.
Wow you really can find anything on the internet lol! My SMART1000LCD has been dead for years and now I need the 4 sockets on the other side that stopped working because of it. Planning on trying this weekend. Thanks!
@@cesarduran81 I bought this one, www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000093UPO unfortunately I think another part was broken because replacing the battery did not work
Great video but it would have been better if you show how you took apart the fog lights and how you put the new ones back on and what kind of screws it has. Other than that it’s a good video
