@limitlessevolutionnz swaybar disconnect will definitely help I was the only one with out lockers and didn't really struggle any more then the rest of the guys
Way too fast in sections and overtaking on a beach requires the brains of a mollusk as the salt water will see rust in the seams and chassis in 6 months The overtaking was also too close as sand does not act like bitumen Shit video
what tire pressure are you driving with...? looks like everyone drives with normal tire pressure and that's a huge noob mistake... a good rule of thumb is that you can drive with about the same psi as your rim size... when we drive sand we drive with about 18 psi in tire pressure and we don't make the ruts you make... you drive off road thinking it's about speed rather than driving on top of the sand... try 18 psi and don't turn created and drive fast and you will notice a HUGE difference ... Btw grat movie
There are also 30km/h speed limits on sections of Ripiro beach, either side of the Baylys Beach Pouto Point and Glinks Gully beach entrances If there are NO Pedestrians, the speed limit is 60km/h. Not 100k
You're pretty reckless driving on the beach that fast and passing on the sea side. If you put a foot in the water, or swerve to avoid a wave you're toast. It happened to a guy on Muriwai beach a few years ago and the cry babies put more restrictions on the access to Muriwai beach.
Thanks for ur concern but I have driven on the beach alot of times and know not to turn if I'm going at those speeds. Saying that accidents can happen so will keep it in mind next time
Awesome video I have just found you guys this afternoon wow it’s great to see some Kiwi 4 wheel drive videos. Keep up the amazing content looking forward to seeing you on the next video
Australians coming to North Island in 2024 and I would like to get to Pouto Point. Can you hire a 4WD for a day or two in a nearby town ? This initial part oy the video showed very high dunes, and cliffs where do you enter to access these cliffs? Any help or ideas are gratefully received.
entry to the beach is easy you can enter via Baylys Beach or there is actually road that almost goes to the lighthouse Pouto rd but the sand is a bit softer, not sure about 4x4 hires tho. hope this helps

What tyre sizes is everyone running?? I have 33s on my 2007 Jk. My new diff gears are in and I’m going to 5.13s. Now the big decision, what tyre size? Should I go to 37s or 40s🤣👍?
