I’m having surgery soon and have to be in the hospital for like a week, thanks so much for this. I’m really nervous about leaving my leopard gecko and green anole alone so I’m going to try and have someone check in on them every two days or so
Maybe yours hates ro be handled but most of them are really good with being handled of course if someone didnt handle much its goin to act wild but for most part if you mess or interact with they are typically love being heald
Thanks so much for making this! Definitely helpful for newer gecko owners like myself, especially since as you noticed there's a severe lack of guide videos re: handling, especially when they're extra jumpy. :)
I got a gargoyle about 2 weeks ago. I try not to bother him so he can acclimate. He is in a 12x12x24 set up. I change out his food every other day (I've actually seen him eat). I talk to him when I feed him and mist his enclosure. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get him to know me. He has eaten from my finger but if I go to grab him, of course he runs and he is jumpy. I don't want to stress him out or make him afraid of me and I'm also afraid of him jumping and getting hurt or escaping. Any tips?
At least you acknowledged your mistakes and will not do them in the future. Unfortunately you can’t improve or progress without a few mistakes on the way ! You’re still learning so don’t be too hard on yourself. Thanks for the update video :) Keep up the work 👍🏼
And to add to this, I think it also very good and helpful that you explained what happened in this video. I don't have any reptiles my self, but probably when me and my wife got our own place we will have some (at least only first a snake, knowing my wife). If we would get geko's this can help us prevent the same mistake for example
I have one of those straw spoon things!!! They came from cereal around 2013 (I was 5) also mine was pink with Ariel. Like if you had one of these or got toys from cereal!
My sister has a bearded dragon And it’s a girl I call her hungry because when she sees crickets She runs up to me and she says hey give me those crickets
