Yep! Was gutted to discover there’s actually NO FOOTAGE AT ALL of Titanic leaving port! Only a couple of shots of Titanic under construction - even before her smokestacks were painted, and there’s a massive black tube hanging off the starboard side which is a huge toilet for the construction workers!!
It’s so sad! The film itself is actors, retelling of a tragic tail. But this is original footage. Real life images of people, children who have no idea they’re days away from dying
Alot of these people waved goodbye to their loved ones for the last time. Not knowing that in a few short days, their lives would end or be changed forever.
