I did make a friend at my previous workplace. and yes, we do meet up occasionally even after I left the place. not often, but we do like to chat about our lives here and there. Aside from that, I wholeheartedly agree. None of them are your friends unless they intend to be and treat you right. Also about my previous comment, I don't mean to justify the practice of picking fun at others. It shouldn't be tolerated whatsoever, especially not at a workplace. Why some people do it is beyond me. This video here makes it totally clear why. Friends may poke fun at each other, knowing when the other person might laugh about it and when to stop. But most, if not all coworkers do it for their own pleasure, uncaring for the feelings of the other person.

Something similar happened to me. Dude has my face, full name and address now. Not only that but I have to change all of my bank info now because I shared my screen with him. I should’ve turned back at the first red flag
I go through similar stuff at my workplace, but I don't think it comes even remotely close to what you've been experiencing. Either your boss doesn't understand it at all or he genuinely doesn't give a shit. Some people only see people picking at each other as normal activities. But people's boundaries should ALWAYS be respected... My coworkers give me better advice luckily ''Just ignore them, you're above that''... Some things go too far and simply can't be ignored... Either way, I'm sorry for all of this... My previous offer of being there for you when you need it still stands, no strings attached.
