I make videos on... Uhh... I'm not sure. Does anyone read this? Are you reading this?
So basically I make long form videos about games. I try to incorporate a lot of different things into my videos, the history of the game, gameplay analysis, themes, visuals etc. It's like a review but kinda not. It's like an analysis but kinda not. There's probably no one size fits all word for it. Anyways, I hope you might like a video or two that I've made.
I genuinely don't know what to put here. Thanks for reading this far.
Finally playing through the main metal gear solid games for the first time and I cannot wait for my revisit to revengeance after i finish mgs1 and play 2-4.
Bruh if you think Somnus is a douche, wait until I tell you that Bahamut tried to kill everyone and also looks exactly like Somnus and Noctis, basically confirming he's an egomaniac who wanted to rule humanity by proxy and then destroy them when he couldn't
XV is the reason XVI and the 7 Remake project are any good. They owe their entire combat systems, world exploration mechanics and even design elements to XV. It walked so they could run.
We were supposed to get an episode Aranea that would have had playable Gralea streets and a fight against the Diamond weapon. It ended up in the Dawn of the Future novel but god LORD were we robbed
The open world isn't sparse, it's just got clusters of human activity where you would be likely to get quests from and monsters roam most of the remainder. And there are plenty of hidden dungeons and whatnot that the hunts direct you to if you're too stupid to find them
Noctis deliberately hides his identity for most of the open world section. The fishing quest where he captures the Tide Grouper even has him using a pseudonym and his friends saying 'good idea'
For the Summons, it seems to me like the game triggers the prompt when you take too many hits too quickly or otherwise seem to struggle to hit the enemy. I figured this out when I found lv3 enemies at the entrance of Insomnia when I was in Past Lucis, and they kept hitting me. And earlier there was a Hunt for Necromancers where the prompt triggered, I couldn't respond in time because the daemons wouldn't leave me alone, and the prompt never came up again in that battle. "There's some guy that went to uni..." Hah, that's basically me, except the getting married part. But I am kind of over video games. _Kind of._ But I'm watching this after having replayed most of FF XV, and, I gotta say that even if XV has a lot of problems, it was still an important "step in the next direction," to keep the main series going. You mentioned the open-world game design being direct response to XIII, and, you're partially right, but I think what it comes down to is appealing to the Western market over the Japanese one. That's why XVI ended up being an M-rated game.
If they made X-3, they'd be smart to ignore the content outside X and X-2. The 3rd installment would perform such a massive dive bomb with what fans remain if they didnt decanonize Will and 2.5. X-3, in my opinion, would follow a journey on a new continent. In X, the FMV showing Sin powering up to attack the airship display his power of manipulating nature using its Gravity powers. In doing so, and zooming out into space, it implies the continent X and X-2 take place on is only on one half of the planet of Spira. X-3 could show New Yevon or the Youth League (or some new governmental faction) receiving a distress call from "a place mentioned a thousand years ago in ancient Yevon texts, before the war". The denizens of Spira learn about a whole new continent that they've been disconnected from for centuries now facing a lethal threat (not Sin) and are sending out sphere waves across the world for any aid it can get. Then X-3 begins. You have Tidus back as a playable character, YRP, and perhaps new characters as they explore a whole new set of places, fiends, ways of life, etc. The X and X-2 continent only seen or played in for a handful of moments and select cutscenes in the beginning, middle and end so the main bulk of the game solely focuses on the new land. Idk, I think it'd be nice. Throw in an Auron cameo whether in a flashback or a farplane visit and you're set to make money and new fans.
Philosophy, spirituality, and the meaning of life and humanity aside can we take a moment to thank Yoko for making some of the BADDEST BITCHES EVER. Trust me. I enjoy this game alot but it isn't the master piece or should be held as high as it has. Glad I have it amd play it but it honestly isn't top tier or close to it.
I still remember picking up Yakuza 0 on a whim despite never having heard of Yakuza before and was utterly blown away. I still have the business cards from the Day 1 edition.
How is tidus a dream of the faith if the faith are in the farplane now!? Maybe yu yevon is so angry he summoned sin from the farplane as an undead version using the dark aeons…which are probably weaker here because they don’t have the full on strength they had in 10 when sin was alive. My guess is
It’s a shame that most ppl didn’t really dive into all the lore and stuff, this is amazing story telling. And such a good game. Combat is different and the way it plays, it’s just great
Yes, it is. I remember playing it when it first came out and it was confusing as fxxx and the characters motivation don't make sense. I recently bought it again on PC and tried to replay it. Yea it is.
The reason jojo manga were translated into French earlier than English is because France is the second biggest consumer of manga in the world. It was a common thing to see anime on TV in the 90's
..... I have been burned so many times trying to 100% x2 in one play through... since the ps2 release. Even with the official ps2 guide with pictures and step by step. The HD version, I've tried one walkthrough, and mixing 2 or three to confirm I'm doing everything right... But still, I'm missing percentages. You're right. This is one of the games we're it's not worth it to 100%... but I can't stop it's an obsession at this point 😂 Enjoying your video dude, good job
I was actually one of the weirdos who played X-2 before playing X back in the day. In fact, X-2 was my first Final Fantasy game ever and therefor has a very special place in my heart. Even without the context from X I loved it a lot.
There is an in-game reason the machines look like Emille: when they invaded, Emille was one of the first to fight back and hold the line. It cost him his body (the reason he is just a head in this game), and they used him as the base for the machines design.
Can you make a similar video of this but woth Neir Reimcarnation videos please, cause that game released so much lore and info regarding the world of neir
After the FinalFantasy 7 Projekt they should make a Remake out of 13 or 15 13: with a Combat System like 7Rebirth And 15 to make it a Complete Game this time
