There used to be a weekly show on here entitled "Nerd Talk", but the idea faded away and thus, it's been cancelled. Don't worry though, the essence of Nerd Talk is still here. The show was a joint effort between myself and "indyjones45", but now it's just me.
I'll be uploading videos about everything from video games to action figures.
My wife and I are in our early 50s and we still cry at the freeze frame of John waving goodbye to us all at the end of this film. John personifies the 80s theme of hope more than anyone. The constant threat of thermonuclear war made us live in the moment more so. All the best to everyone out there.👍
My mom just found this game lying around in a closet and it's 6 cd-roms of which, she never got past the first one. Needless to say im stoked af to play this game!
Everybody needs an Uncle Buck in their life, the unconventional guy, who has a heart of gold. His lifestyle may be unconventional, but it's his heart of gold that makes him so likeable. RIP, Mr Candy. You passed the year I was born, but I love your work. Your movies will live on forever. Thank you for everything
I have this awesome set as well. It's a shame this line didn't continue for a bit longer but they oversaturated the market with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull product, which didn't sell well. Hasbro was going to make the German flying wing but didn't make it past the prototype phase.
Rob Lowe is absolutely crucial in this movie and his confrontation with Demi Moore is incredible : two huge talents for a memorable warm movie that I keep celebrating through the time !!
Hi, please can someone tell me what is the title of the jazz-like music Buck is listening while driving his hellish smoking car ? It's been years I've been looking for it and it seems it's neither a part of the soundtrack nor one of the additional music...thanks !
Uncle Buck was a big part of my childhood like it was for so many. I remember watching it multiple times throughout my younger days with family members who are no longer here, I miss them dearly, RIP to them and John Candy. If only I could go back, even for a day, to a family get together in 1989 or 90...
