I grew up with the "1 2 3 and 4" thing as well as the International "2 3 4 and 1" timing. If I were in that competition, I could incorporate these gold American-cha-cha moves..... Syncopated Shadow New Yorkers Two-Way Underarm Turns With Hand Changes Dansan Sliding Doors to Syncopated Dansan Sliding Doors (with Checks) Half Chases are usually done in Bronze and Silver levels, but I could also do an Extended Half Chase which is a bit like the International style "Follow My Leader" chase. That is - holding into progressive Man's Tandem Position for about 3 or 4 measures before going back to facing.
What a great video! I love how you did step by step after seeing the whole thing. Get an idea what it looks like and Love how you did the part where the lead is step by step. Looking forward seeing more videos.
I think the guy needs to move with a little more flair. This is a sexy dance! Both of them should be acting a lot sexier XD I love watching these videos because as a ballroom dancer myself, these help me get a good idea of what these dances look like. Thanks for posting :)
