Cool look with the elevated buildings. And I like what you did with the main house of the site, making a nice half-house out of it. Pretty cool, makes me want to play around with the idea. Good stuff!

@@theinsaneshecklador6598 it just wouldn't look right otherwise in my opinion. I just uploaded another video of it pretty much finished. All that's missing is a couple more settlers and themed apparel and weapons. 👌
My sanctuary literally just has this giant roof covering the entirety of it that I made when I was trying to figure out the build mechanics and never removed because I was lazy
I wanted to make it to operate like diamond city. Without any settler pathing issues. So there is not a single place settlers can't get to...and none of them stand there confused.
@@PUBLIC_OFFENCE It looks really cool! I don't have enough patience or a long enough attention span to even attempt to do that when I can take the time to put lights in my house, my sanctuary is almost pitch black except for the "Main Area" when you first walk up.
If I don't want to run power to an area or am to lazy I just throw a couple lanterns in the dark. It's lit up but doesn't require a bunch of unnecessary attention. My ghouls houses usually don't have power. (Sensetive eyes and what not) 😅
I don't seem to ever have an issue with frame rate, but the crashing... 😢 I would have loved to have been able to make a single video showing how the switches work, ultimately I had to seperate it into 4 or 5 videos. 😅
I play on a ps5, I don't use mods, so this is all possible in vanilla. I pay close attention to settler pathing and attempt to make them as close to bethesda made as possible while adding my own elements or themes. I feel like aside from mods and over glitching and over building, settler pathing issues contribute to frame rate issues. (Settler movement queue being disrupted and cycles as they keep reattempting to complete actions). I could be wrong but it seems to work for me as a rule of thumb. 👍

I like the entrance section at the start of the video with the solution on how to get up to the upper levels. Most builds just slap some ladders randomly in the wild to get up there and everything hangs unnatural in thin air, looks weird and makes no sense. Here it looks more natural, like there is actually structural support. Hard to explain but I guess you know what I mean. Hangman's is my main hub too because of the central location. It's usually completely empty, because I'm 100% talent free when it comes to creative building settlements. Greetings from Switzerland
It was a lot of trial and error. In no way was it easy I just kept at it till I had something I was satisfied with. Those top paths have been through about 3 variations till something worked that wasn't an eyesore. I also find that the warehouse walls match up pretty well to the premade structured size. Giving it that almost seamless finish. Building in this game is no walk in the park. It definitely tries your patience. Just keep at it. 🫶☺️
I haven't built a robot bench yet, I have a specific idea in mind for it. She's not my absolute favorite in this state however she is a solid backpack and I love her for it. 🥰
Man this is nostalgic.Glad I came across your video. Really cool build. One thing I'll never get about the building system, is why the original prefabs for the game are all crappy shanty town scraps, or just in general look beat up and neglected right off the bat, both the metal and the wood ones. Like, it was just built right? So why would the wood plank walls look like they're about to collapse, and have like 5 holes in them? Either way, love the video, watching the tour of the build was very relaxing. Looking forward to the decorated version. I've not built in the game in ages, but I heard from somewhere that having smaller rooms would make it easier to clutter them and avoid making them feel too empty. Figured I'd share it, hope it helps.
I like the rugged look of the build items honestly. :) I like to think it's because you're using scrap and junk to put it together. After 200 years most of what you find in the wasteland is nearly destroyed and corroded. I'm almost certain polishing equipment had already been broken down for basic parts. It would also take a decent amount of man power to have new pieces made, not to mention the machinery that would be needed. None the less breaking down forks and shopping baskets for the steel needed for the pieces seems a little far fetched as well. 😅 I'm glad you enjoyed the tour, I definitely intend to post another video once I'm fully done with decorating I just have a couple other projects I'm working on as well. 😁👍
I'll definitely post a video of it decorated. I'm just focusing on putting all the buildings down before worrying about the inside. I don't use mods so I have to strategically work around the build limit. 😅😭
So I've learned if you assign any of the roigional settlers to a job, they still wander and "fix" Sanctuary. If you want a constant presence at a shop, during operating hours, use generic settlers. They some times slip of for a bit but they generally are at thier shop
Yea I seen sturges at his counter then he left as though it was because of me. He came back from the workbench building so I kind of figured that's what he was doing. I kinda like that function about it. He works hard. ☺️
