Better than uni2 tbh The music itself The unique ui The way the ui falls into shape in sync with the music It all feels very extra but in a good way The art of the character portraits is more consistent too Uni2 doesn’t quite nail all of those things
Man i love how the character select starts forming in sync with the awsome music And i love the colors and the swirling clouds in the background This gotta be one of the best character select screens of all time
Late response but I really wished more franchises were represented in the game. I would've loved to see Guilty Gear, Double Dragon, Kunio-Kun/Renegade, Melty Blood being represented in, heck I would've loved to Sengoku Basara (with Capcom's permission since they own Sengoku Basara) and Fist of the North Star (ArcSys made a FOTNS game on PS2) being represented. Pretty sad that it had to end in a bad note.
Edit: Another franchise I would've loved seeing in BBTAG would've been the Fate series. Although unrelated, Heart Aino was in another game called Nitroplus Blasterz, and one character from the Fate series appeared as a playable character, which was Saber aka Artoria Pendragon. Saber imo would've been such a good character for BBTAG imo.

currently making a BBTAG2 for my M.U.G.E.N. I nearly have all of the UNI gang, with the only ones who are missing are Londrekia, Enkidu, and Chaos, oh and the ones from UNI2.
Such a good game based on the anime. And for that, good games and animes did great for years. Such as Guilty Gear, Citrus, Fighting EX layer, Radukai kishi no cavalry, Dead or Alive, Aoi Hana, Fighting EX layer, Sonic X JP ( F*ck the 4kids version) and the rest. And if you people didn't know, I grew up me liking animes and games mixing together. I would love to see if some game characters would interact with anime characters to make a cross over series of it.
I don't care how good this game is supposedly. To take out characters to sell back as paid DLCs is an absolutely disgusting practice. Imagine SVC Chaos being ported to modern consoles today featuring featuring 24 characters, with the remaining 12... Geese, Mars People, Goenitz, Orochi Iori, Mr. Karaté, Athena, Zero, Demitri, Dan, Violent Ken, Shin Akuma, and Red Arremer... all of whom are unlockables in the arcade original via codes, ALL TAKEN OUT in order for them to be sold back as premium paid DLCs. We as consumers can put an end to this practice by being vocal on social media, call the publishers' greed out, let our voices be heard by the publishers, and most importantly... DON'T BUY IT!
