I love how this song is very much a fusion between east and west, it's very japanese but also it gives off a slight medieval european feeling in a strange way.
No? Tell me exactly what was wrong with the VN. No solid argument = invalid opinion. I’ll list some things that make this VN a masterpiece. 1. Amazing soundtrack that fits the feel of the VN. The soundtrack in this VN help bring out the feeling of hopelessness yet also the beauty of living. 2. Amazing and realistic storytelling. This VN is about sickness and being stripped of of your life. Only having a little time left and the feelings behind it. This happens all the time around the world and makes the story even more powerful 3. Realistic characters. The characters that appear in this VN are realistic and have depth to them making you relate to them even more. 4. Different perspectives on the situation. You get to see how each and every character feels to the situation. The one who leaves. The ones left behind. The caretakers. The best friend. And the observer. This makes the story so much deeper. 5. Deep psychological messages. The VN throughout the story sends deep psychological messages to the reader. These are the lessons that the characters in the story get to learn but they are also sent to the reader. This can change how one sees life and change themselves for the better. Honestly there is so many good things about this VN that it’s just a straight up fact this VN is a masterpiece. If you say it’s not you are simple wrong. There is no opinion to be had.
Does someone know what VN version has this exact opening? Ther are a bunch of openings and this one has a very similar version in which they change some of the lyrics and the music, and it is not so good as this one. EDIT: Ok, nevermind, I've discovered that this version is the ALBUM version, which does not appear in any visual novel as far as I know, the Visual Novel opening always has its own version with the italian lyrics and the melody slightly changed.
I tink you are talking about the Rengoku version, i actually like it more tbh, it's all in Italian and is way more intense, which kinda fits But well, maybe it's nostalgia talking, i read the manga and while i did that, i downloaded the Rengoku version and listen to it pretty often in that time, my reaction to listening again AFTER finishing the series looking up the lyrics was priceless, it was that moment i understud for the second time that Ryukishi was a genius. Yeah this got personal pretty quickly lol
I also think you're talking about Rengoku ver. But does the VN version [ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hU_vECs4i10.html ] has a full version version......?
Still coming back to listen to this masterpiece. This vn will ever be one of the most heartbreaking but loveable storys i ever got the chance to read. I would love to read it for the first time again...
while there are many stories that have a character with an incurable disease or ailment that will kill them. most of them have ending on a hopeful note or miraculously being cured its rare to have it portray the dark reality. when your life has been cut short and you have been given a due date on your life. its easy to think. what is the point of connections anymore. to form meaningful connections you have to make yourself vulnerable you have to open yourself to the chance of being hurt in hope that your efforts will bear fruit worthy of your vulnerablity. but if you won't live to see that tree bear fruit never get to taste the sweetness of that connection. what point is there to opening your heart to pain. what is the point in willingly allowing yourself to be hurt. when all friends leave you why bother trying to make more. why bother trying to keep those connection when you know it will just hurt those connected to you more when you pass. when simply looking at the ending it may seem like a simply bad and dark hopeless ending. but there is a hint of light in it. setsumi will never be just another number in a statistic. she WILL be remembered she well have someone who remembers who she was and the life she lived. she will have taken a route of her own that wasn't just home or the 7th floor. she will have make her own choice not simply one of of the two given to her. there will be proof that she lived there will be proof of her existence.
I played this game before I knew what was wrong with me and my shortness of breath. And this song accompanied me on lonely visits to the cardiac section after school. I used to imagine how they'd feel with so little hope in their lives, like the male protag and his brand new license. I went to get mine too. I found out that I have the rarest heart condition. That it also has no cure, but thanks to this same game that made me think of lost hope, I proceeded to get a secondhand car. I brought the friend I'm in love with everywhere in it. One day, I'll also head to the beach with her. Like we promised. Not to die but to live like we once swore to each other. Might sound too anime-ish to be true, but if you believe or not is up to you. Whoever read up to this point, I thank you. This game will always be one of the best.
@Joseph Luna and @Zulfaa Fuad Syani , thank you for the kind wishes. Hard to feel alone when people wish you nicely 😊 I'm doing fine, with minor pains that I can totally handle. I hope you you two are blessed with good health and great lives.
Stay strong and I hope all is going to be perfectly well. I also have a not curable sickness to deal with so yeah, life is life and I keep fighting everyday.
A disease that’ll take away even tomorrow. It’s not something you can accept is actually happening to you, or to those that you’re close too. Incurable, so that no matter what you try to do, there is nothing that can save you. Despite the fact that you could’ve had a long and bright future ahead of you...
Make an anime out of this novel so i can see setsumi live again for a few moment. It so sad that she commit suicide alone instead of dying together (spoiler duh!)
