Amazing they are reliable. I lived with several for a year. Very sweet dogs but very odd a d quirky. Non ever got aggressive but I would worry that they would get too fixated and be uncontrollable.
A story of note; My cousin is working with 3 brothers that are currently 8 months old. They don't play like this. He can't get them to go after a bite sleeve. They will only go for the face and groin area or the back of the head and neck, and they've proved too dangerous to train with a human. He uses store display props. You can sick them, but so far you can't call them off after they hit. They shred for 15 or 20 minutes if not redirected. If you try to pull them off they get even crazier and that gets expensive because they waste the dummies and duct tape. They will only come off if you direct them to another target, so far. I see why malinois and shepherd dogs are used for generic protection dogs. These ABPT's he's dealing with are far more violent than any other dogs I've been around ( including grey and black wolf mixes) and are probably best described as attack dogs or combat dogs and not necessarily simple protection dogs. One of them jumped through the rear side panel window of a Tahoe and came out the other side panel window with a 4 year old male malinois by the throat. Those windows are difficult to break with a hammer! It took 2 stun guns and a choke out to get the little pit off the other dog. The other dog required a surgery afterwards. Live and learn. If you have an APBT trained defensively be prepared to deal with a supercharged demon.
@@user-bw7gp4mh6y our dogs are trained to get along to every dog , but we can’t vouch for the other dog , but ours 100% can live with other dogs we do a lot that work with them :) but it’s a 2 side relationship :)
You know who REALLY has huevos? The "attacker" - braving such a fearless, amazing white-fanged fur-minator, to help with training. ALL, *very* impressive!! 10 months? Imagine fully-grown/ matured & trained!! I am in AWE of both these amazing dogs, and their amazing trainers. TFS!
@@TyrProtectionDogs Bro, I just spent a couple of hours writing a reply post on another comment & detailing the challenging dogs I've been raised-with/ dealt with (GS-mix, GS purebreds, my brother's registered Belgian S, & my own rescued from being dumped, abused beautiful black chow-chow mix (w. GS and likely black lab & maybe others), and the challenges of that alpha male dog who'd been abused by Chinese men with sticks (lived in Hong Kong then). Literally spent the time composing & just deleted it, as too long and maybe uninteresting for you/ readers. These Malinois are on a whole 'nother level! While I could handle a mix (maybe), I doubt I could a pure breed. RESPECT, bro, to you & your training helper, AND your dog/s!!
