Videos from my travels as a senior solo traveller in the Canary Islands. I am particularly fond of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote with Corralejo and Playa Blanca being my favourite locations respectively. I have selected my favourites based on many visits and adventures where I have had the opportunity to experience and investigate wonderful locations that suit me as senior solo traveller. I normaly travel with no real agenda, as find this the best way to relax and chill, but invariably easily meet likeminded new friends and adventures along the way in my favourite places. My uploads are just an impression of my observations and experiences in the glorious Canary Islands which I hope encourage others to visit.
The little train of Corralejo? Tourist trap!!! It's unbelievable to see this train full of curious tourists who don't know they've just thrown their money away!! Horrible ride! Through the streets of old Corralejo, which has nothing beautiful about it!!!
Thank you for your comment for which I appreciate your thoughts. I just found it a fun ride around Corralejo (not just the old town as can be seen from the video) and pretty reasonable @ €4 - but realise it's not for all. Regards 👍

Looking busy, busy in Corralejo. Some people wearing t-shirts, others coats or jumpers. What's the weather like in the evening? Always so difficult to tell.
Yes although temperature in the evening is tolerable at 17/19 a slight breeze can make it feel a tad chilly.I still wear shorts but now also add a thin anorak to compensate however in an event like this one with loads of peeps I was a bit overheated!!!
@markwillougby6436 A month at Xmas and retirement there sounds idyllic ! I'm back September for another 4 adventurous weeks with hopefully more vids to follow !👍👍
Palma Nova, a very good choice, not too far from Palma, or the Airport, and my favourite place, and as I'm an "old git" it's flat, no hills , unlike up the road, Torra Nova!
Ich kann jedem nur warnen auf Fuerteventura Urlaub zu machen. Seit Tagen wird Fuerteventura mit Giften aus der Luft durch Chemtrails besprüht. Die Sonne ist total verdunkelt, es kommt kein Sonnenstrahl raus. Wer Wert auf seine Gesundheit legt, fliegt lieber wo anders hin. Bei dem Video hier war Fuerteventura noch in Ordnung, das ist vorbei.

@@grahambroome8781 Equally a regular visitor to Lanz. Personally have not found wind excessive in Corralejo on my many visits. Each to their own I guess. I've always thought this is the second worst part of the island - the area around the airport & Caleta de Fuste being the worst.
@@ngc-fo5te Each to their own indeed! Many wonderful locations in Fuerte but I just enjoy the vibe and music in Corralejo which I also find a good central point for travelling the Island 👍
Couldn't agree more regarding Playa Blanca ! Perfect mix of activities/facilities/relaxation and still has that 'spanish' feel as not quite as commercialised as PDC
