Listen I know plini is one of the greatest guitarists in the world point blank period but was the solo pre recorded here? Look at the tapping section in there he continued playing some sort of fast lick but there most definitely was a sustained note in there player with vibrato it didn’t match what his hands were playing to me. Maybe someone with sharper eyes will correct me but I feel that solo didn’t match his hands. I do play guitar but I am more then happy to be corrected 11:37
Omg 12:04 is so fucking beautiful and right into the heavy part after 🤩 I’ve been listening to them for awhile and have been dying to see them live. Maybe one day I’ll be lucky enough to see them a couple times
@@hiroturoyeah I kinda figured that’s what happened. Everything else matched the video except for that portion of the solo. Thanks for explaining!! I kinda assumed that’s what it was but I wasn’t sure
Salam kenal bro.. hehe Sbnrnya ada fullset terbaru mereka yg udah di mix sma audio FOH. Kmrin videonya smpat naik di YT 1 atau 2 harian tp skrg udah di setting private. Klo minat nti linknya bs dishare lwat email bro 👍
@10:17 hoe do you get that kind of chug sound on a guitar. I need to play that sound. And also 11:15 I must have that type of sound if I would be building a rig for my guitar.
Decent gain, crank the mids pretty high, pretty sure they play the note (G) and mute the higher octave (also G), since it’s tuned to GGCFAD, they basically play: x-x 0-0 Great amp plugin for similar tones is Amped Roots.
I absolutely cannot believe that this live version almost sounds better than the original! Such extreme talent, and for 17 min straight! Can’t wait to see these guys in Anaheim in November 🤘
these guys have just hit the nail on the head. I identify with their pursuit of the groove so much and I can't help but get so emotional just can't thank these guys enough
It was, he messed up so they replaced the solo portion with one from a different show on the “Periphery: live in London” record. If you watch the original video you can hear the mess ups, they just replaced the solo in the actual live record, if that makes sense.
just incredible performance from Misha, Jake, Spencer and Matt! sound is rock solid even though Mark is not there. the soundman did a wonderful job! and also I want to mention the lightning, unbelievable!
Misha- I always enjoyed the cropped hair for several reasons, mainly (this is reading into it too much, like I do with EVERYTHING. ALWAYS) because it seemed like a big "fuck you" to the metal world- you don't need long hair to be metal AF, which he is. But I gotta say- REALLY diggin' the long hair on EVERYBODY- I think serious locks on Misha & Jake both are looking cool AF. They may as well go hard instead of go home & I'd love to see 'em with 2 feet of locks
Sad to point it out, but the audio isn't live, it's post-production. Check out 11:32 when Plini is adjusting his volume knob and not playing anything; the solo is still continuing! No hate, love these guys, but the audio just isn't live :(
@@canesrule96Small correction: The Audio is from the “Periphery: Live in London” record, and on the record they kept all of the London part but replaced only part of the solo because Plini messed up. I may be mistaken, but someone else said this and I think it makes the most sense.
