I got the 5 piece set yrs ago. Everything is brilliant. Sadly the impact is only 80nm. You'll need minimum 1/2" and 300+. Preferably bigger. I usually drag out the compressor for the 1/2" at 750nm for wheels, suspension, k-frame etc. Anything torqued to a million lbs. But the little 12v is a ripper for 97% of the car 😉
Thanks heaps mate. This follow-up vid was really helpful for us fellow Jeep owners experiencing and dealing with this common issue. Just ordered my new part from the eBay store you've recommended.
bro, you do great work, I like your videography ... btw,,, concerning replacing these "jets", you can order replacement jets,,, HOWEVER, you can order the kit for a buck or 2 more, comes with all the t's and hoses,,, AS YOU SAID,,, chrysler plastic breaks easy
Because powertrain is also transmission & driveshaft … I had a roadside come along miss-diagnose a customers car that it was coil packs it wasn’t .. I tested coil packs with multimeter .. I also knew it wasn’t key as brand new key .. the centre bearing on the driveshaft I got a genuine gm one on eBay .. wasn’t hard to replace took me about an hour taking driveshaft out of car … powertrain issue fixed .. if I were you get under the car and look at driveshaft .. you may even be able to hear it coming through the centre console a knock on acceleration .
Powertrain issues are not always this .. I just worked on a VZ commodore with this motor .. powertrain is to do with transmission and also driveshaft .. it can be coil packs however I pulled the coil packs in this car I’m working on and tested coil packs with multimeter as they were not that old .. on taking my customers car for a drive after testing coil packs .. gapping spark plugs properly .. the car was going clunk clunk clunk could hear it and feel it with arm rested on centre console .. I then put car up on ramps looked at the centre bearing it was stuffed … I then took it for another drive as soon as I put my foot down hard thump thump thump …. Power train light comes on… centre bearing issue as powertrain is driveshaft being unbalanced causes an error code vibration through driveshaft .. I bought a genuine centre bearing smashed the drive shaft apart .. and installed a genuine centre bearing on driveshaft cost $70 on eBay .. I recommend genuine as it’s an important part … anyway I had RAA roadside come along and tell my customer it was a coil pack issue .. when it wasn’t they even took it for a drive really bizzare they didn’t hear the clunk … doesn’t surprise me RAA miss-diagnosed I applied for a job at QLD equivalent and was told By RACQ I was over qualified in Automotive that they didn’t want technicians qualified in the trade was quite bizzare that job application
I have a VX Calais with the catch in both under dash and centre console clips broken. Your video has been just the right tonic for me to fix them. Who did you say your clip supplier was?
So I just done mine, same model. I took those clips and plastic bits in the way off completely. So it looks like I put mine on about 50mm higher than your bullbar, must have put the bolts through different holes, but yeah mine came up nice and flush with the edges, looks like this one has been put on wrong tbh but still found the video very helpful. Thanks.
Hello, good afternoon, I want to ask you a couple of questions. I hope you can answer me please. 1-When you put the k seal on it, how long do I have to drive it? 2-Do I have to turn on the a/c? And finally do I have to bleed it, change the antifreeze? thank you so much
Powertrain issues are also centre bearing on the driveshaft .. the centre bearing is easy enough to replace swapped it out within an hour .. powertrain are also transmission and driveshaft problems … the car will bang as you are getting as the centre bearing is thumping around … I got a genuine gm centre bearing on eBay for around $60 … this video along with all others who make these videos not one of them talk about centre bearing causing powertrain error .. I replaced the centre bearing and powertrain warming went away
I've got a 2016 compass that's actually been really, really good to me compared to what I've seen in the forums. I did have to replace my TB at around 70k, and it's now at around 110k and definitely needs a cleaning I can't afford. I'm going to do it myself but could really use a video on the relearning process please!
i'm in the same boat I don't have money like the mechanics want to take from me one bit everyone I call has given me a different price one said he wanted to replace the entire body for $900 and one said he just wants to try cleaning it for $125 one said he wants to do it for $290 like where the fk do they get the pricing honestly
crazy part is the guy that wants to go right for the most expensive option on me just did some work on it and "checked it" for all issues and somehow didn't deal with the ETC light coning on during the test drive but when I picked it up it was literally instant as soon as I got down the road, already gave that man $5,000 to do a bunch of work on it holy cow
Thank you very much..just paid for a full service on my car two weeks ago …found out today oil filter leak from sump plug ! So annoying..but your video informative
How much does the TP Creeper actually weigh (that is to lift) as I have a crook back? Can't find the unit weight anywhere, just to load weight. The raised headrest option is what I am looking for as keeping my head up stiff is weary-some with thanks PS Good review
I came to comments for this reason he said "tek head" I'm like wtf is that, hex (Allen key) meets torx 😂. To the video maker, accuracy matters bro. Edit: just did mine 2010 1.8 litre petrol, T40 torx is what it is.
My 2006 Buick Lucerne got the death knell. The mechanic said I had a blown head gasket, radiator leak and need a new engine, It is not worthing fixing. However on the short drive home I had no issues with overheating and I had a thought. My job is only 6 miles from my house and I only use the car for work and local stuff on weekends (We use my wife's car for everything else) So I was thinking if I used this product might I extend the life of my car for maybe a few months (I would consider anything more a bonus) Also since I have both a leaking head gasket and radiator, Would I use two bottles (one for each leak or just one bottle? Thank You
