@@damionpatterson1507 yes I had to research the foot print pain in the ass when a sales associate at a well reputable gun shop says not it doesn’t fit and then I search for 30 mins and buy it.
@@JediMindTrcks they also have an enclosed version… which I sorta which I would’ve gone that route which I like 75 dollars more. But I couldn’t figure out if it was a straight drop in.
Been there done that but back then there was no crane, we roped blocks down from the stub or had a few guys snatch them off if there was space, very very stressfull job
@@BrandonKnight-il9xs man crane makes it so much easier haha. But on this job the lady didn’t want her lawn damaged.. I would’ve just sent that whole stick in the yard. lol. Yes I’ve rigged some pieces out also.. a crane cannot always get there.
That was really helpful. I’m from England , Cornwall . I’m yryin to figure out what upgrade to go for. And I think you sold it to me the akrapovic system
Found your video after searching for sound check for Arkapovic for Ninja 650. Just bought my bike recently (2023 model) and as per Akra's website, it seems to be the same model of exhaust for 2020 - 2023. A few questions (1) did you need to remap after? Akra says no need (2) sound - is the sound more deeper on Akra or just louder? appreciate the advise and thanks for this video.
I would say it stays about the same, maybe a bit higher. But not by much. It is more tucked in. But I do catch my foot on the exhaust sometimes, but is because I put my toes on my footpegs lol. You also lose like 9 pounds I think if that helps.
@@Thelooch if you just got the bike put new exhaust after 1 month i will use the same gasket maybe if you change after 1 or 2 years yes buy new gasket......
It’s not the same exhaust. Performance edition comes with a street legal akra exhaust, which sounds pretty much stock unless you pull out the baffle. The one in the video is not street legal even with the baffle in, and gives higher performance and is louder
