Jf 17 is not made for dogfighting, the missiles are not that advanced, the gun is tilted by 8° downwards. It doesn't perform well in both one circle and two circle fights. It struggles to perform high AOA manuvers. The tejas however is going to outrate the jf 17 in one and two circle fights due to its light weight and Delta wing design, it also has mid range and some high range missile arsenal. Overall the tejas is likely to emerge victorious in such dogfighting due to its Delta wing design and more lift.
