@spr22 so BB doesn't do real well with wheels operating smoothly. I have AntiMicroX running to handle it. It let's you set points of wheel rotation that will move the wheel faster or slower.
Hey thx. Yea I think youtube is doing that bc I put the whole link. If you go to the LB forums support/request a feature just search for #9222, it'll come up.
Fist of all thank you for your work! It works great on big buck hunter a the resident chronicles games, with my aimtrak ! I didn't manage to remove the crosshair from Target Terror though, I have the USA version , do you know what could cause this?
Yep. It appears that the texture folder for Top Sot is missing (id ST9E52). But it is there for target terror (RGDEA4), with a texture file in it, however the"load custom texture" settings in dolphin does nothing for that game. @@PiperisCalling
Hi. Yes the Sinden wiki was moved. Here is the link to the Dolphin page. If you scroll down to Accuracy Settings, there is a link to the pack. www.sindenwiki.org/wiki/Dolphin
@@PiperisCalling same! Happy to have 2 working with Sinden at least. Have you found any way to get the other games of the series work, on different emulators? Seems this is the only way from my findings.
@@HeHateMe36 well my rig is packed up right now...I'm in the middle of a move so I can't check. The ps2 versions maybe if there is a nuvee profile for them. You'd have to use 1.6 though they haven't added nuvee to the newer versions. There was an arcade game from 2014 but I haven't heard much about it. Maybe TP could emulate it at some point?
How did you get your cursor to move with the light gun? I set my player 1 input as the ems top gun II but the cursor does not move. Did you have to use a special plugin?
My rig is boxed up right now, in the middle of a move but if I remember correctly I just selected top gun and it picked up. Are you using a sinden gun? Is the sinden sw running & border is up?
@@PiperisCalling I am running Gun4IR but I’m theory it should be the same just that I have four leds and Sinden has a border. I want to say both just act as a mouse and it works fine outside the Xbox emulator. When you set the control to the Ems gun 2, did you have to enter up/down/left/right button presses or did you leave all those greyed out? I tried moving my gun up, down, etc for those to program those but it does not register anything unless I use the keyboard (and I selected the Gun4IR gun at that point). Good luck with the move!
Hmm yea it should be the same for g4ir. I know someone on the sinden forum had an issue like that with a newer ver of cxbx-reloaded. As soon as I get moved & set back up I'll check everything & post back here.
Red dot can be removed in cxbx input settings. When you configure the EMS top gun buttons, you will see an option to set a laser toggle switch. Just set it to whichever button you want.
When I configure the file "[Controls] WiimoteProfile1 = HOTDOverkill_P1" i get this message... "no profile found for game setting " HOTDOverkill_P1", what can I do ? :)
Hmm..so you put the ini files in [Dolphin Emulator Folder]\User\Config\Profiles\Wiimote ? That message means Dolphin cannot find your ini files. Are you running Dolphin in regular or portable mode? I recommend running in portable mode and this is the correct path for the ini files if you are in portable mode. You run in portable mode by putting a blank text file called portable.txt in the Dolphin Emulator folder. If you are running in standard mode then the ini's will need to go in your user documents folder where Dolphin is storing info...again I don't recommend that though.
Does the aim work perfect, i needed demulshooter for accurate aiming for virtuacop 3, it would drift in spots, dont think demulshooter supports this game.
Yep aim is spot on for me. Vc3 needs demulshooter though. Now the emu has issues with the game. #1 has graphic glitches & #3 has a zoom bug but hope the devs fix it soon.
@@PiperisCalling Just taking some time to try this, when i open silent scope default.xbe a small silent scope image appears at the bottom right, but nothing happens, you think i should maybe find a new rom and its a rom problem? I downloaded Dec 30th build of cxbx-r
@@montys8237 yea maybe a rom prob. The SS logo appears when the game is loading then it should go to the game selection screen. I have a pretty updated version I'll chk which version in a bit.
@@PiperisCalling Yeah just a bad rom, new one worked fine, dumb question but do you have to find the axis, i can shoot and zoom in but cant move, the ems top gun plugin is a bit new to me, do i set the axis up or something? Not sure why my gun wont move.
@@PiperisCalling So i set the mouse axis it says cursor y cursor x plus or minus, but when i go near the edges of the screen it seems to jerk the mouse to the opposite side? Any ideas, not sure if you could share a screen shot of your input, or if im missing a secret to get the aim working. Its like its working but when i go left or right or up or down to far it shoots the mouse cursor in the opposite direction.
How did you get it working with the Xbox? What do I need for it to work with my Sinden Lightgun? Are you using an emulator or original Xbox with game inserted?
It works with one of the buttons on my gun, can't rem which one & not at my cab atm. My buttons are mapped to 1, 5, enter, space & middle mouse. Try one of those it should work.
Awesome - thanks! Just started the Dolphin Sinden effort and your first INI (HOT23) was quite an improvement. Looking forward to using others. Update - Ghost Squad is great too! Thanks again for putting this together.
This is a really great idea. My issue is my INIs are in a different path. Dolphin-x64/Sys/Profiles/Wiimote... but when I put the INIs there and follow the other instructions the game reports it can't find them.
hmm...ok so you're running Dolphin in standard mode. I run my emulators in portable mode. I'm not sure why it wouldn't see your ini's in the path though, that might be something to check with the Dolphin folks about (forum or discord). Are you sure that is the correct path for game ini's? In portable mode the ini's go in /user/config/profiles/wiimote. I would think it would be similar in standard mode just in the documents folder. If you want to try and run in portable mode and see if it works for you just put a blank text file called portable.txt in the folder where your Dolphin exe is and make sure the game ini's are in the user/config/profiles/wiimote.
@@PiperisCalling Thanks! I actually meant to update this... I think I got it working but I'm not at home to look at the exact path or how I did it. Thanks for the video. I'll add my solution later tonight.
@@PiperisCalling OK I looked in my install and I put the INIs in Dolphin-x64/Sys/Profiles/Wiimote. It appeared to work, but now I am getting warnings again. I need to check this... but I know it worked at one point and the INIs were definitely in that folder.
@@PiperisCalling Not exactly. On Windows 10 I have Users/MY NAME/Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Config/Profiles. In Profiles there is a GCPad subfolder only. I added a Wiimote folder and put on INI in there and it seemed to work.
Dolphin doesn't support 2-player mouse/lightgun yet. It's been requested to the developer. Hopefully we get it soon, it's such a great emulator with some fun games and has tons of lightgun games.
2 things 1)used per game control configs to zero in the aim across the whole screen the defaults are way off as you move around and 2) removed the crosshairs for optional pro mode
@@PiperisCalling out of curiosity this seems great for Wii games without calibration, I'm using gun4ir and some games are off, but games like ghost squad where I can calibrate on my display in game I'm not sure why this would be needed? The calibration seems excellent when dialed in using the game calibration.
@@PiperisCalling Yeah works fine when i played again, it did not stick for you? Did this with house of the dead 2 and 3 as well, liked the wii versions for graphics on dolphin. I will try again later make sure the aim still feels good. Is there an issue with dolphin not saving game calibration after a reboot?
Hi, Big Buck Hunter Pro Dino Strike Operation Ghost Heavy Fire Afghanistan Link's Crossbow Training Reload HOTD 2&3 Returns HOTD Overkill Remington Great American Bird Hunt
Just put them in your theme folder & name them collection_[collection name].png & genre_[genre name].png So for a Mario collection the clearlogo would be collecton_Mario.png and for a Racing genre it would be genre_Racing.png
Looks amazing man. Are the video previews streaming in real-time, or do you need to download them? I just bought a 500gb SSD and will be configuring this up to my Shield 2019 this week :).
Thanks. Yea the vids have to be downloaded. I have an account over at emumovies.com, they have just about all the media you need. Other than that check out the Launchbox Games Database..they don't have videos but tons of other artwork. My shield is all setup with an 8TB hard drive with every game ever made lol so now I'm working on an actual arcade cabinet. Good luck to you....Piper
@@PiperisCalling Wow thats amazing. How is the gaming quality on an 8TB device? any issues with speed? I just bought an SSD but am wondering if it will suffice. Also, where in ArcBrowser to you set up the game preview movies? Thanks so much and kudos.
@@lolfunnyguylol no it plays fine on the USB 8TB. If you have a smaller SSD also it might be a good idea to put all your artwork on there. That will speed up the browsing for you. But playing the games off the HDD are fine for me.
@@PiperisCalling that was actually a mistake I just made. Is there an easy way to pick the location of the artwork? I just ran out of internal storage on my shield.
@@lolfunnyguylol within Arc Browser you can set the location of your artwork, I think it's called theme directory. You def don't want to store game artwork on the internal storage of the STV, it's just too small...unless you have a small set of games. I would just store the Arc Browser artwork on the internal (for faster browsing) and then put all your games & game artwork on the USB drive. Sorry not more help...I'm working on the arcade cab now so my head is in a different space lol. Hope it helps!
Hi, thanks. Well it's in Arcade view. I modified the Theme.txt to change up the colors a little bit (to show the wheel/clearlogo images better) and of course added custom System/Genre/Collection clearlogos.
Hi, thanks. For most of the artwork (boxes, snaps, videos) I got at emumovies.com. Just sign up for a free account and they have a download utility that grabs all the artwork and matches it to your rom names. It's super easy. They don't spam you or anything. For the icons, I think you are talking about the system/genre/playlist logos? If so, most of those came from Dwayne Hurst. He's does a lot of killer artwork and was kind enough to share them. Here's the link he gave... mega.nz/#F!gZdW2A4T!SIACfcQ-1V41heQR_q2njQ There were some genre & playlist logos that weren't in his collection that I made myself. Let me know if you aren't finding something and I can upload them somewhere for you.
