Perhaps because its Cory, I like it. But this ensemble isnt as soulful as I've heard other groups he's headed up. I've heard him perform CREEPIN' in an impromptu session with Mike League on bass and the drummer who's name dont recall. Its was groover and funkier. It's only my opinion.

Agreed about bassist in particular, but can't even hear him much. Don't overlook the sound engineer... they're the most important musician in a live band 🤷
Corey is a keyboard god. The way he gets lost in the music drives me nuts. His affinity for the song "he has made me glad" is touching. Since he was a kid. This is like his millionth version of this song.
