This song is so very awesome! I am 68 years old, and I loved it then and still love it today. This group was a combination of Indians and Latinos. It was the first band like this. They are so very awesome! Love your reaction!
This is such a beautiful song. It brings out all of your emotions. You should check out the original music video, it will blow your mind. They sound the same back then and it has only gotten better. Love your reaction!
When a person shall react to a song with interesting lyrics.. he shall not talk under the hole song. Then he just proves that he doesent care about the song at all ! He couldn`t know ANY of the lyrics after his "reaction" !
@@user-vh8wd7ux4t You are the only one condemning this reaction in all comments so far. Just examine your conscience please and as for me, he gives an honest reaction and anyone can tell from his reaction that this song truly sank into his body and soul. Don’t condemn someone’s work because it doesn’t suit your tastes. Encourage him first and then correct him where you think he gets it wrong in a polite manner.
Well, I`m sure he has good intentions. But for me it doesen`t work when a reactor talkes upon the song. Then he cant have any interest of the lyrics. Many people analyce the very special lyrics of this Hotel California, but he is not able to do just that. I honestly don`t mean not to be polite, but this is my truly opinion about this reaction. But, as I said; I`m sure his intentions were serious.
I love your reaction. It is such an emotional song. The orchestra is amazing, and his voice is perfect. I'm glad you got to hear and appreciate this epic song.
I don't get why you, and others, go on so much about drummers who sing! You don't rave about guitarists who sing, or keyboardists who sing, or even keytarists that sing. Playing the drums is like playing any other instrument. Why should drummers not be able to sing? I feel that this is some sort of prejudice.😢
Whoever suggested this song knew what they were doing. It is one of the most beautiful (and powerful) love songs ever written. The singer, Justin Hayward, wrote it when he was just 19 years old. When it came out in 1967, there was also an orchestra accompanying the band - a first in the history of Rock music. Thanks for heartfelt reaction! 🙂
Don Henley drums.don Felder lead 12string guitar.joe Walsh rythum guitar.glen fry acoustic guitar.randy meisner bass. Glen is gone. Maybe the greatest group of talent on stage at one time ever all. All were great musicians. All were great singers all had their own careers separate from the group
Don Henley (drummer) is brilliant as well as multi talented!! Everyone member of the band can be a lead singers!! Completely spectacular band and awesome reaction!! Thank you!!!🎶🎼🎵🎹🎤🎸🎧🥁🤘🤘🤘
This is so crazy because I was at this concert in 1977. I had just graduated high school the year before, I saw The Eagles twice live and this was the first time
Wow ! I was there at this concert, too !! It gives me chills ever time I hear it (or watch this video)....... It's like all of these musicians were at their best that night........It was pure nirvana ! It was like they were feeding off the audience & the audience was feeding off of them (I always get the Chills when I listen to this song). MY FAVORITE SONG EVER....... HANDS DOWN !!!
Check out the 1998 version at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. They are all 20 years older and haven't lost a step. Check out Joe Walsh's brick suit.
The song is about a young man moving to adulthood. "Hotel California" was the name the band called California because it seemed as if everyone who lived there was from another state and not originally born there so decided to stay. Hence, the line "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave"
