The little movie theatre is called a Gugick; its left by last year's Brickworld Master Casey Mccoy. Next year the 2024 Brickworld Master will design, create and build another Gugick that will be left on builds Sunday morning. Its a tradition started by Arthur Gugick and previous brickworld master who sadly passed away. Bricknerd has an article with the history of the tradition I believe.
That’s so sick! Yes, when I first made this video I wasn’t sure what this build was, but then it was explained at closing ceremonies. I also always forget the name “gugick” but I’m writing it down so I don’t forget. Such a nice gesture he started, as well as so great for Casey to take it to the next level and give one to everybody.
and it is over... thank's for recapping the whole convention from your perspective. I always enjoy everyone's individual stories for this event. Can't wait for 2025!
And another year in the books! Thanks Shy, I also love watching others coverage because with so much happening, there’s things you miss so it’s fun to catch up. Can’t wait for next year already.. and hopefully catch-up with you in Toronto sooner!
@@BrickShips1912 there were actually a few different people from Australia there this year. Definitely a challenge, especially larger models, but not impossible haha
Thanks for posting these! I regret not taking more time to walk around so these videos are a nice way for me to see what I missed out on. Excited for BWC25!
Thanks man! It’s all good, these conventions are such a busy time and you were super busy the public days too haha. There’s always next year- the countdown is already on!
Thanks for coming to the Lego RU-vidr panel! Me and Logan’s crew worked really hard to make it as good as it could be but there’s still a lot we can improve upon for next year if Logan chooses to do it again!
I didn’t buy a ticket for the garage sale but still got to haggle down prices during the last time slot! I’m surprised more people weren’t trying to do that because I got some amazing deals by doing that!
Yeah, the later into the garage sale the better the prices go! I got some great last minute deals, but I guess if you have something very specific you want to buy then it’s best to get in earlier
Hey Man! Great video! Truly appreciate the in depth coverage that you got for this year. Hope to make it out next year to see what it’s all about! Thanks again man! 🙌
I made it to the LEGO Store on Wednesday & filled 6 boxes. Before that, Mall of America on Sunday & Monday. Milwaukee on Tuesday. 12 boxes total. Also made it to World War Brick in Minneapolis. Overall, a 1600 mile road trip & taking 6 vacation days from work. Really liked your Guess Who MOC.
Tip from an Aussie, please only spread the smallest amount of Vegemite on well buttered toast. Do not coat toast thickly with Vegemite as you really won't like it, but a tiny bit on toast tastes good.
