I’m a local rider and it’s good to see a video of The Bonang just before the 2019/20 fires that ripped through this area. The forest is slowly recovering, though Martins Creek will never be the same. As of last week the final gravel section has been fully sealed (after over 20 years of lobbying), and it is awesome! A lot of time, work and money went into this section (over $9 million) and the road crews (most of whom travelled a long way to work on the road) did an excellent job (including the gravel truck drivers, a few even ran off the road, but fortunately no one was seriously hurt). However, the section between Sardine Creek and Goongerah (heading north) has been hammered by all the gravel trucks pre sealing, so extra caution is needed in this section which is in need of serious repair. Fortunately there are no more log trucks, but there is often random traffic at various times so don’t cut blind corners please fellow bikers, and respect and enjoy this legendary Far East Gippsland twisty road safely …
I thought it was far fetched to get to Delegate in that time as the title at the start depicts. Delegate River, it was impressive you did it in the time you did though once passed the McKillops Road turn off bugs in your teeth would not be the problem, but maybe 400lb of Venison could have been. You were extremely lucky!
He has done very well the urge to open it up is killing him, I rode this many times before speed cameras back in 1972 and had lots of fun, if only we could turn back time
Need to remove cat and flash it with something like Woolich racing, trust me you’ll love it, and it will give quick shifter and launch control all programmed in the ecu
MrPninja that was the first customer delivered G4 ZX-10R in Australia, since been replaced by two others and yes, latest has had Woolich tuned Log Box from the first release by Justin which supported that bike :)
MrPninja all good mate, love Justin's kit. I have a mapshare up on his site at www.woolichracing.com/mapshare/item/271/ecu-flashing-tuned-map-arc909-aa003-2016-11-06.aspx "Built from 59 previous maps with 263 hours of engine log data (11 days, 7.3 GB), 2.5 years of real world riding from sea level to ~2,000 m (6,562 feet)."
It's a great ride... strict speed limits... it's a 2 way road with a lot of hidden driveways. There are speed cameras all around it... It's easy to get caught, if you get too excited and open the throttle. You don't realize how steep it is, until you ride up in the reverse direction... thanks for sharing... Rife Safe - Ride Far... Cheers
The local council is surveying the traffic on the road to improve and plan better roads for the people. It's either these camera's or road tubes. I install road tubes here in NSW and I constantly get harrassed by the general public asking questions like: Am I putting in spy cameras and speed traps. No! A piece of rubber on the road cannot record your number plate. It just measures speed and car amounts. :)
the thing kick in @0:48, look at KTRC indicator just below the gear indicator. due to the wobble, KTRC detect the slipage and solve it by adjusting the rev to match back the front tyre. Please correct if im wrong..
man!!! some times people are so stupid!!! A highly sophisticated electronic system based on actual Kawasaki MotoGP experience that’s designed to maximize forward motion by allowing racers to ride closer to the edge of traction • The system crunches a wide range of data, including throttle position, wheel speed, engine rpm, wheel slippage and acceleration, with help from a speed sensor fitted to each wheel... A level meter on the LCD instrument panel displays how much electronic intervention...
@arc909 AWW Man! now you got me in a deli ma....So you recommend a Tank mount over the Ram bar mount? Whats the brand and where can I pick one up? I would also still have to buy the ball mount and arm to attach onto the Tank mount right?
@arc909 Thanks for the info...Did your Ram mount come with the standard 3 inch arm or the smaller 1 inch arm? I'm thinking of getting the 1 inch arm so it won't cover the dash display.
Hey arc909....I wanted to know what kind of mount you have on the bars near the clutch and the one in front of the steering damper....Thanks in advance.
