Which proves why a debate format is not the way to get to who is right but rather who has more stage presence and can perform better. You can put a charismatic flat Earther up on stage with an aging, senile scientist, the former can just spout lies and the other can say the truth between stumbling constantly and to an audience the flat Earther did better. I don't like either of the candidates, but if you think Trump won then it just shows what your criteria for winning is, and it isn't "who told the truth".
Trump "won" in the sense that he was able to maintain confidence. But if you're talking in terms of the actual issues at hand and addressing them, Trump dodging questions like Neo from the matrix ans then lying when he does answer isn't exactly "winning" to me when the opposition, despite his stutters, was being truthful.
