Grow 200+ varieties of greens, veggies, fruits and herbs in our self-watering, self-fertilizing Farmstand. The hydroponic system recirculates water and nutrients to your plants - and uses 95% less water than traditional soil-based growing. Made from recycled ocean plastic, Prop 65 compliant, and FDA-certified. Just plug yours in, and let's get growing!
Fill your new Farmstand with a full set of strong plants and customized nutrients and you'll be harvesting food in less than 3 weeks. When it's time for new seedlings, your veggie concierge will reach out to help you select seasonal plants that are just right for where you are and what you want to eat!
but isn't it loud when inside and near the kitchen? is it realistic to put in the office, and roll it closer to the bathroom on a weekly basis to add water?
"Sterilize" is a word that is unattainable for cleaning a Farmstand. "Sanitize" is the word to use. To sterilize it (which means to kill literally everything, spores included), you would need to do something pretty drastic (giant pressure cooker, gas chamber, etc.). It seems to me that after removing the plants and the existing water, that one could add fresh water with bleach and let it run for multiple hours. The bleach would kill everything it came into contact with. Or, the same could be done with hydrogen peroxide (probably best undilluted). That would kill almost everything (more than soap). Then, it would need to be run through multiple rinses to remove all the chemical cleaning agents. Otherwise, we can only "sanitize" these units (which should be sufficient).
It would be great if the instructions printed on the ph pen included how to open it and install the batteries. The geniuses at Lettuce Grow are so forward thinking....🙄
Why does the app FAQ link land on the shop page? Why is it so hard to find simple maintenance dosing answers? Why does lettuce grow assume i cant read an want to watch a video for everything?
This video is NOT correct. There is no SMART TIMER function anywhere to be found on it. And, although it shows I ordered and received a Nook, it does not show up ion "My Farm". A really worthless app!
Thanks for sharing. Mine flashes 9.18 when inserted in the 6.86 in the first solution and I am sure it was the right one. On the 4.01 it flashes 6.86 and on the 9.18, finally, it gets it right. However, the fact that only one point is correct makes the pH readings totally wrong and the pen is useless... If I could find a manual way for it to be forced to assume a buffer liquid pH level instead of trying to guess it, I am sure it would work...
Hi @nunoprazeres1173! We are so sorry to hear you experienced some issues with you pH Pen. Please know that this is not typical and we're eager to help troubleshoot the problem and fix the issue. Please reach out to our Customer Success team and they will work to resolve this with you. You can reach us at lettucegrow.com/contact-us or by phone at 512-234-4001!
I believe it may be prompting you for what order to go in. From what I've experienced different pens operate slightly differently, sometimes requiring reverse processes or different orders for the processes. Try calibrating yours in the order it flashes, 4.01 first, 6.86 second, and 9.18 last. Hopefully this will calibrate yours to the correct values🤷♂ Hope that might help your situation😅 --RuneShine, Michigan's Norse-Druid Alchemist✌💚🙃
This is NOT useful at all. The entire series is not for beginners. I just set up my nook and already thinking about returning it because it's so trusting.
Note: If your 5 GHz connection doesn't work and will not pair (mine didn't), try your 2.4 GHz. Both of those bands (frequencies) may be combined as one with your ISP. If so, you will need to log into your router to treat them as two distinct connections. Hope this helps someone out!
It's interesting bcuz my Mac and iphone connect effortlessly whereas my android is giving me the BLUES!!!! Been trying for abt a month now with my android! I have one ISP. Will log in to router to see if that works.
