Whenever y’all cut the cats what yall did with the valve sensor that is connect to one of the cats and no I’m talking about the 02 sensor there’s like a valve connect to the cat also 😅
I'm curious how it only made 412 wheel? Not knocking the car, but only ask cause my 06 GTO made 400/406 with nothing more than longtubes, FAST 92MM intake, catless mids with magnaflows.
I just inherited an e30 project car so i appreciated your well lit, clear video. But to all viewers - unless you enjoy spilling coolant all over and making a mess, tear the thin seal Off the jug of coolant and turn the bottle sideways so the wide flat side is toward the engine, Then pour. This will allow you to get a lot closer to the overflow opening and with much less pressure so you can pour with more control. And, while just water will cool your engine if no coolant is available, you dont want to leave it for any length of time. The type of coolant (G5) has VERY specific chemistry to increasing boiling point and decrease freezing point AND PREVENT CORROSION. Your engine is an electrochemical cell with hot metal electrodes of at least four (4) different metals - those metals will decompose and migrate if you use plain water of any kind. The engine on the car i inherited is a prime example where someone left water-diluted coolant in it and huge metal deposits formed in the water pump and thermostat housing, and all cast metal parts Lost that metal and are pitted and weakened. No ones opinion or preferences override the basic chemistry of the engine. Keep up the good videos. Cheers
Hey I have the same car 507, and also same sort of exhaust. ARH long tube but mine are catted and I recently got p0420 and p0430 codes. I installed 90 degrees mini cat spacers hopefully that solves the issue. I don’t have misfire just those two codes. What’s your update on your end?
