Nice words man, it takes bravery for sure. Most of us go into jobs that we dont love. It hurts us inside. Fear is imaginative and we design it ourselves.
You have a lot of good points. I can tell you have researched a lot. One question I have for you is, how is spirituality not related to religion? Or rather why is religion a bad thing? What do you thing you're seeking in the spiritual? Is it just yourself?
@@bestofrock945 it is in the ultimate sense, but it’s just useful to make a distinction, because they’re often equated in the sense of being below the rational stage of cognitive development (pre-rational), when in reality it’s actually trans-rational (includes yet transcends both). This leads to the pre/trans-fallacy which unfortunately throws the baby out with the bath water and therefore misses out on a massive, potentially life transforming, 'domain' or dimension of Life, hence the conceptual distinction. Even though in the end all religions point to the same Absolute Reality, they’re also still filled with plenty of dogma and less direct methods (belief instead of direct experience), and that going full circle of spirituality and religion converging, and finally making sense, only comes after going through the post-rational 'realms' first. 🙏💚
Thanks Ismael. Visited Berlin many, many years ago. Very interesting place. I'm glad that Germany still has forests. Would be great to meet you should you visit Namibia one day. We have beautiful landscapes and a lot of wildlife and nature left. Makes for wonderful environment to meditate in. 🙏💖🌍
Wow. Thanks for the video Ismael. It's 1 am, I'm depressed like I've never been depressed before. It's just eating me up from the inside. And then I stumble upon this video. Made me realize it's okay to sometimes not be okay. I'm going to sleep now with a much better feeling than I ever had in the last couple weeks. Thanks again <3
Welcome, man! What a beautiful comment, makes my night too. 🙏💚 It’s ok, times change and sometimes they’re just really low. Oftentimes, they even precede the best times yet to come!! Life is counterintuitive and surprising like that. Sleep well! ✨
@@thefeelingoodmama yes! Discovered him a while ago, but now that I’m starting to really implement my passions I’d like to appreciate his work a lot more, let’s make the best of it. 😌
Welcome! Definitely, yet sometimes the biggest thing to fear is fear itself. Thanks for commenting, dear sister. 😇🙏🌄 “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ~ Anais Nin ❤️

You know I have made honest attempts at learning to meditate and I can’t seem to figure it out I’m not sure if it’s because I have ADHD or if I’m just doing something wrong but some pointers would be welcome
Understandable, the reason most people who tried meditation conclude that it’s too difficult or even impossible is because they are _trying_ to _do_ it. Yet meditation is not a doing it is a quality of _being_ . The mind doesn’t like meditation, because if you keep the body still, the mind also becomes silent in a natural way. See, the main aspect of meditation is that right now your mind is the boss and you are the slave. As soon as you meditate and become more meditative, you will become the boss and your mind the slave, and that's how it should always be. If it’s the other way around, it’ll cause endless sufferings. It’s not that meditation is so difficult per se, it’s that we have an untrained mind as the master, instead of 'Awareness' witnessing passing thoughts. There’s no such thing as bad meditation, that’s just the mind judging, simply sit through the time you set for yourself and that’s good enough, just don’t react, simply 'Be'. I’ll make a video on it soon, since it’s a very common sticking point. 🌤️🙏💚
Thanks, Shaquille! There are many great books, but pertaining to this topic specifically, emotional mastery, “Loving What Is” by Byron Katie has been the most eye-opening to me. When it comes to meditation, “True Meditation” by Adyashanti is one of the best I’ve found, it’s a great 80 page introduction by a master. Thanks for a great video idea! 😇🙏💚
