The theme of this beautiful song is the same as the theme song by a haunting female voice in the British 1988 documentary "Afghantsi" (look it up here on youtube, absolutely worth it), a sober and low key documentary about the Soviet withdrawal from the war in Afghanistan. I first saw this documentary on television many years ago, and the haunting, sorrowful female voice singing this song never left me. For years I searched for this documentary on the internet, until a couple of years ago I suddenly stumpled upon it. Alas, the singer's name and the title of the song don't appear in the documentary's credits, nor anywhere else I've looked on the internet, including IMDB. The song in this present video, The Mountain has Overturned, is the closest I've ever come. Thankyou!
