So Can i use this for my brake pedal if I have the basic CSL 2 pedals ? Or do you believe it’s significantly stronger than the basic original stopper? Enough to be useful as a brake ?
In theory, yes, I've not tried it. I was thinking of getting another one to try it, but I'm think I'm just gonna upgrade to fanatecs Loadcell sometime in the future.
How is the shifter mount and do you know its overall length with the seat? Great review. Glad to have a great non sponsored review. Im planning to get one myself. Keep it up.😊
Thanks for the message 😁. So the overall frame length is 141cm, and with the seat all the way back, it's about 151cm. The shifter mount seems to be solid, I only have 1 bolt in it as I've got the wheel stand height lowish, but the mount seems good. You'll be really happy with it 😀👍🏻

Listen I love the wheel but I swear mine makes my ffb inconsistent. Almost like something is slightly off with the electronics in it? Because I use my other wheels and no problem at all.
Hi I’m new to your channel come across it looking for dd wheels to connect to my play seat enjoyed that vid you done, I didn’t enjoy daily races for about 2 odd years I just done time trial till I got used to the game and I could compete, I don’t race to pass anyone if I do great but my main thing is to not get overtaken by anyone and Iv got to couple,e of races of A rated👍 you will enjoy Iv made a new account one I’m not arsed about my first 5 races I done from the back won all 5 but when u get to racing the B drivers and higher I had to set a time lol

I love this game and just got the DD Pro. For some reason when I use the brake and accelerator the car will not accelerate but will always rev the engine. Even when game transmission is set to automatic. The brake works fine, the shifters work fine but I can’t move, just coasting. Any suggestions?
@@mattsellings Just do what works for you as they are every 20 - 30 minutes, I do a couple every few days early in the evening due to work commitments or at weekends.
its pathetic, that we have to buy this thing to be able to use our DD properly !, cause otherwise, the thing just keeps on disconneting and faulling when given a bit more force.. :D the old connection, witht the poins sticking out is the best ! Can pull, can push the wheel, still connected, no matter what.
Have you tried an upgraded 2 piece shaft clamp on your QR1 for the dd pro first ? Worked for me, kept disconnecting and pulling out the connection beforehand
@@BigidiBoom this wheel was designed to be used on the CSL wheel base which is entry level….wasn’t intended to be used on DD bases. You sound like an entitled millennial!

So I need to give it a proper test but so far I think I'm getting more fine detail from it. I definitely recommend it and I will be doing a follow up vid on it next week.

@DoctorJedi Year the GT Lite handles it quite well you do feel the extreme bumps through the rig ie running over high curbs but overall it works well especially if you can't afford an aluminium profile rig. But that's what I would love to upgrade to, the GT Omega Prime Lite 😁
The A.I. on the last race this week seems really unbalanced. I've tried a couple of cars and different tyres & fuel mixes and the leaders are gone for the whole race. Think I'm done with this race for the week and I'll take the L. I've plenty other games I need to be playing!

Thanks for subscribing 😊👍🏻 yeah it's mounted on my Fanatec Gt dd pro. I got the mount from ebay, just search phone holder for Fanatec gt dd pro and no there's no lag really easy to use just follow the instructions on how to set up the IP address for each game and then your good to go. I'll be doing a new video showing how I have it setup and how it works 😁
Hey Matt :) does the Dell Monitor have built in speakers? also, how did you plug in your speakers? through the "Headphone Out" port? (I assume they are Powered Speakers, like Computer ones?) Are you happy with the size of the monitor? (I'm unsure if I need a Monitor or a TV for my PS5 rig I'm going to build) Sorry for all the questions!!! LOL. Hi DonsShed, ok so to date I've gone through 4 monitor's 1st was 27in and the other 3 are 32in. My current monitor is a LG UltraGear 32gn600-b which is a VA monitor. The previous 3 were IPS Displays (LG, BenQ and Dell) the problem I had with them is I was getting image retention. It would go away but would then come back when I start playing again. So far my LG VA monitor doesn't have any image retention (3 months so far since new) so 32in for a rig setup is a great size I'm really happy with it but if I could afford it I would go for a TV setup that supports 120hz so something like a 55in LG Oled (that's the dream 😁) All the monitor's I had have headphone jack which I plug in pc speakers and they are powered by plug. Hope this helps.
@@mattsellings it does thank you 😇 I was initially looking at 50-55" TV's.... but now I've been looking at an AOC 43" Monitor at $1089 AUD..... or a 48" LG OLED, but that is $1899 AUD on special, so my wife might kill me if I bought that, on top of the $5,000-$6,000 Sim rig!!!! LOL 😁
@DonsShed yeah those are all good sizes but yeah can get pricy. What cockpit are you running? I'm looking to upgrade to the GT Omega Prime lite sometime in the future.
@@mattsellings I don't have a cockpit as yet, just using the hand controller LOL..... but looking at getting an 8020 Aluminium Extrusion Rig, Fanatec DD Extreme Pack, Elite V2 or Clubsport V3 Pedals (can't decide), Handbrake and Shifter 😁 Yer, the GT Omega Rigs look good. Unfortuneatly, GT Omega don't sell their rigs in Australia at the moment

at how much force are you using your wheel? ... have the same rig (gt lite) and wondering about how much the 8nm DD wheel will shake it at full capacity.
