I’m BobCat, a scrappy rescue from the alleys of Hamilton who found kind and loving (though not always obedient) servants in Toronto. There’s nothing like the moment when you meet a human and you know they belong to you. It’s magnificent! Though I love my life with my humans, there is another world outside my window that I long for, but my servants won’t let me reach it. They believe it’s unsafe. I know they think they’re making their best efforts, but it isn’t enough. I have now harnessed the power that comes to all cats on RU-vid. I have implored, “You must find ways to do better!” Now we wait… Follow my journey as my humans and I change the world, one cat at a time.
Inside is safer fir cats. How do you know they love the outdoors with all the dangers. I rescue cats gorc31 years. None of them go.outside. they wouldnt know what to do. They're happy and content inside with their food. Cat trees. Toys. And love and comfort...
Well....one of my cats has claimed my legs as her territory , the other prefers my hip or chest depending on her mood. Either way, i cannot move atm and my leg is falling asleep.
My ex-housemate and I did this, although I had to guard my cat's food from the other cat, who liked to poach, which didn't make my cat too happy. Although mostly the other cat used his own litter box.

“Charlie, this is Tibs! Tibs, this is Charlie! Work it out!”
@@BobbyKat I think we all want to make sure Ohioans aren't eating cats :) And...even though you don't live there, will you protect Bobby with your life is any Ohioans show up on your porch? :)
I made the mistake many years ago of introducing my skeerdy-cat to the outside. She wasn't too into it but I took her onto the porch and she explored around, and then later she went down the steps, and then into the yard. Which I always wanted to do supervised, but then she or maybe some numbnuts roommate punched a hole in the screen and she was able to get out by herself. I found her chasing a butterfly and I was like, "This is my fault, she never would have done this if I hadn't gotten her used to the outdoors!"
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it was "No harm, no foul". If a cat has always been indoors they may never want to go out. Taking a house cat outdoors does have risks and we always encourage caution, training and TREATS!
@@B1ackWo1f13 I've had cats for the last 50 years and they have to be seriously incapacitated before they need to be bathed. They do it better themselves. There is no more need to get a cat habituated to water than for a healthy human to be habituated to a wheelchair. Normal cats don't need to be bathed. Anyone who buys a cat deliberately bred for genetic mutations to have short legs, a pushed in nose, no hair or floppy ears is a tosser.
I never cleaned mine, they could not go outside though. Then they would rub their head to the doorpost and that spot turns grey. Greasy. So i do not clean the cats but do clean furniture and the like :).
If hiss doesn't work, swat. And be equally diligent about normalizing being touched and petted everywhere they go that they're allowed to be, so it's a crystal clear distinction to them.
Our fur baby eats a Sheba, half morning/half evening and has 1/4C dry food in her bowl all day. She is indoor/outdoor at will and may supplement with prey. She is thin/lank and perfectly healthy. She's a petite size though and won't eat much more than that.
My cat Jasper ... I feed my cat 4 small meals a day .... I take a can of wet food and feed multiple meals through out his day ... Breakfast , lunch evening than the last small meal is a little later. That is one can of 5.5 oz break down to 1/4 cup which makes 4 meals in one day ... My cat weights 9 pounds and 8 oz. Been having my kitty since 3 1/2 months old .....he is now 1 yr old .
