CONFUSED: Some video's say to HOLD down the continuous button as you Say the command and release when they finished executing the command... While on your video you're indicating to TAP it once... Any reason over the other?
There are a couple of different methods. Some people use continuous stimulation while others tap it. When it comes to recall, I hold it down a bit longer until the dog starts coming towards me while other trainers hold it down the entire time until the dog sits right in front of you. In the beginning, when just associating words with the feeling I always just tap it, some dogs the top is better some dogs continuous are better but in the beginning I pretty much always just tap it.
I just got a mini educator for my mini Aussie. I can start feeling it at 9 but I went up on him all the way to 30 and he didn’t show me anything. Is that normal? To I keep going up? Can I train him on vibrating or just the stimulate
Prob not snug enough and make sure you change the contact points to the longer ones and right on side of neck. Prob more snug than you would think is comfy.
I adopted him! Just came back to this video after seeing your latest post. He's a good boy, renamed to Ollie now. I was told you all named him Major because he was a "major pain in the butt". He's "special" to say the least!
Great video! I adopted "Major" a couple of years ago now from you all. Hearing your music choice brought me right back to his adoption video that used the same music. It sold me instantly on him. Otis looks like he made quite a bit of progress here!
REALLY helpful in taking the mystery out of it. I have a mini educator with the special-order "thick fur" probes, am going to start in a couple weeks, worried about correcting interpreting the signs of my GSD feeling it. The signs can be so subtle, and there could be so many of them. That would be a good video too.

What dog owner has enough time to introduce their dog to five different dog's per week??? That's almost impossible!!! You would have to dedicate all your time just to your dog and not have any time to yourself and for your family!!! Some things in this video make sense and other things should be left up to the dog owners to make their own best judgement as to what's best and as to what's not good for their dog!!! It's all a matter of a dog owners opinion!!! 🤔🤔🤔
