My pt. has a huge, irregular wound that has an ileostomy that’s only about 1/2” away from the wound. How would you set up the borders when you have almost no room in which to work?
I'm scheduled for surgery where one of these will be utilised. How do you live practically with it? Mine will be on my thigh. How do you shower, go toilet, get dressed?
Hopefully your surgery went well. I had pilonidal cyst surgery and had it for 2 weeks. I had to shower with little to no water because of its location and the dressing changes was the most painful experienced of my life. And the buzzing and not being able to move too much was hell for me. But can’t deny the healing part. Curious about your experience.

Help is it possible that the machine stops taking fluid from the wound because there's no more fluid to suc on ??? It happened on my uncle the machine took a few fluid then stops even if the machine is still on , please help thank you
