I flew into Mumbai airport myself in 2000. Didn't do any cycling but I travelled for a month or so with a couple of mates and my impressions were pretty much in step with yours. It was an amazing trip to an amazing country but I didn't find it easy travelling at all.

@@wilfwilliams hah, that's awesome! Lots of places in Luxembourg that I've never ridden. Check out biker.lu for free gps track downloads or any kind of information about mtbing in Luxembourg. Also follow an American in Luxembourg - funny guy who loves cycling. Btw I'm Laurent, I guess the TMV was the one time that my wife wrote the blog.. :D
