Hi! I recommend distilled water only for this, it’s less likely to grow bacteria in it than regular drinking water. If you have to use non-distilled water, just make a smaller batch, and replace it every few days. Distilled definitely has a longer shelf life, so you can take your time finishing up each batch.

Ilia has different products for all different skin types/concerns, their brand focuses heavily on combining skincare with makeup, so the finishes tend to skew more towards radiant and glowy finishes, that for me, need to be set with a powder to reduce shine. So, if you have oilier skin, as long you prep your skin, you'll be fine. And if you have drier skin, your skin will love the formulas. I find that Ilia foundations tends to last in the 8-10 hour range for me, with minimal powder touch ups, if any. I can definitely add a wear test to future videos, if that would be helpful!

Ginger shots are amazing for their anti-inflammatory benefits, now that I know I can make these at home, there’s no way I’m buying the overpriced ones from the store. 1-2 inches of ginger, roughly chopped 1 large lemon, juiced (or you can throw it in the blender, just take the seeds out) 2 cups of orange juice 1/2 cup of water 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder Dash of cayenne powder Honey to taste Pinch or two of black pepper (to activate the turmeric) Wash and dry your ginger root before roughly chopping (no need to peel it first), then add to blender. Add one peeled and seeded lemon to the blender, with orange juice, water, turmeric and cayenne powder, and honey. Blend the ingredients until liquified, and pour into strainer. Once your mixture is strained, discard or freeze ginger pulp. Next add black pepper, and add to your bottle. Chill in fridge, and shake well before serving. This lasts about 1 week in the fridge. Everything can be adjusted to your taste level, I love mine spicy so feel free to add more water or juice if it’s too strong of a flavor.
